I just made a new one: DIY - How To Convert 3 IBC Totes Into Fish Tanks For Sustainable Food Grow Out / Hydroponics th-cam.com/video/4q5UyrsUhdE/w-d-xo.html
The rule of thumb is that one pound of tilapia will need 3 gallons of water. There's 220 gallons of usable space after cutting the top and some of the sides off, so roughly 70 tilapia. Personally, I wouldn't put more than 50-60 tilapia in this one.
Don’t do what I did an think all you need is just water to clean the totes..makes sure you clean the tote efficiently before using that means use a detergent of some sort , rinse well, an then put RO water in the tank an measure the PPM of water.. if PPM shows above zero then you know you have more work to do.

How many tilapia can it continues
tilapia need 3 gallons of water per full grown fish so 185 gallons divided by 3. Up to 60 full grown tilapia.
great idea where can I get a icb tote?
I searched my local Craigslist and asked a few neighbors…

That's true. Catfish need 8 gallons of stocking space, each.

Or get a food grade tote like I did and didn’t have a single issue…
