I swear this is the my go to reference. My mom gave me her White sewing machine & she lives in another country now...so when she's not here I run to this video to help me. Thanks so much!

Thank you for this video! This is Jensen's dad. I was about to throw the sewing machine away because the instructions are so horrible. Instead I decided to see if someone on TH-cam might have a how to video. My machine is different it is a White 2335, but many things were the same and I was able to figured out the differences. Thanks for taking the time to make/post the video!!!!

Thank you - no nonsense - helped me put the bobbin housing back together on a machine someone just handed me. I could not believe how hard to find this simple information was - All I needed was the housing orientation. You saved the morning.

You sir are a life saver with my parents sewing machine without any instruction manual. Your instructions and video capture were clear and detailed enough for me to translate the working mechanism on a totally different machine (Sakura 9100) for the first time. Thank you!!! ❤

Today I decided to get out my sewing machine that I got years ago! This is the model I have :) I was frustrated when my bobbin thread and needle thread held the fabric tight and I couldn't get the needle out. Anyways, I found this video and it helped me immensely. Thank you for taking the time to make this!
    Best regards,

I acquired my mom's old machine years ago & sewed a few feet of a curtain. The bobbin ran out & the metal bits around the bobbin came out in a heap of what looked like spare spaceship parts, so that was the end of that. Thought I'd try sewing again, but the other tutorials glossed over the important parts for real noobs, so thank you for this! I'm now the proud owner of a badly hemmed stretchy t-shirt. I'm actually proud of this, because earlier today all I could sew was a knot in the hem, lol.

Thank you, you saved my sanity. My Mom was an artist when it came to sewing, me, not so much. All I wanted to do was sew a hem that had opened in my pillowcase and it became a major project of unreal proportions. Your video got me through it, job done, great.

Thank u I have a 1750 but it looks just like this but different color decal... For the people that need bobbin help... Wind a different color...it jams with plastic bobbins so classic metal only and lastly the bar that goes on the bobbin case is a lock u can lift it ( by the bobbin thread tension) and lock in in u will hear a lout click... That's how you remove it too without removing all of the casing you just pull up on that lever and the bobbin and the bobbin case come out. Also having different threads on the top and in the bottom allows you to see mistakes or how the stitching is

Around 5:15 The pressure knob all the way down (most pressure) is for normal sewing. In the up position (less pressure) is for thick or heavy material. I believe my newly acquired vintage White 505 has low, mid, and high settings for the pressure knob. I’ll check tomorrow.

Nice vid, thanks! Just a couple of comments: You don't have to crank very hard on the hand wheel lock knob. Just turn it until it's snug. Also (it's really too late for this unless you make another video), a dark thread on a light fabric, or vice-versa, would have been a better choice for demonstrating stitch patterns. It's fairly hard to see the dark-on-dark with some monitors.
I have an older White 1599, and the thing is a Mac truck. It'll glide through belt leather with ease.

It appears there's not much difference in the white machines. My 1415 loads the same as yours. I have that plastic piece where you load up the bobbin to automatically disengage the drive and it will stop turning when the bobbin is full. I also disengage the motor so during this operation, the needle isn't going up & down all the time. This is a pretty neat video that covers everything to get sewing. Thanks for sharing.
