These videos are so inspiring and entertaining. Me and my mate go to a more passive off-road terrain. Once we are out of year 12 highschool this year, we'll start going to a bit more aggressive and rough terrain (with equipments and a couple 4x4 of course). Though I'm not sure when we'd have the guts to go through what you guys go through yet. Love your vids, keep up your good work.

Awesome videos guys. I loved my 3L Patrol, our Navara was really good too but not fair to comnpare them really. Had many 4x4 over the years and the Patrol was easily the best. Just too big (and slow) for UK town and country roads, nightmare in carparks. Best car I'll ever own I reckon.

You can’t beat the toughness and flex of the patrol. Navara, surprisingly, did ok for an ifs but lacking lift.
I appreciate to see a video where there is not only landcruiser !

I am thinking about the oil in the oil pan sitting all at the back of the pan and engine away from the pickup when the trucks are almost vertical, oil starvation of the engine.
That's why the Patrols have those issues sorted 😉

1- This guy with the Patrol has been the best driver I've seen among drivers shown on this channel. 2- However, I don't know why he doesn't wear proper shoes?!! :)) 3- I also wonder if he is the owner of this channel?! 4- Nice videos. That sounds mad! Thanks! Umm any drama with scrubbing with such big shoes on a 2" lift? Same though I blew up my zd30 and currently getting 6lt duramax then straight off to 3.5" super flex lift and 35s :) then il be broke bahahha
HAHA, love how you put it :) Yeah, had scrubbing on the bottom at full lock, which was cut off. Also during tuck, all 4 corners were affected, both flare and guard, without the extended bump stops.

Hey guys! I know custom built off road axles and diffs are hard to come by and very expensive Down Under but have you thought of axle swaps from heavier trucks like ford f250 or f350 and Dodge rams from salvage yards or is that illegal like roll cages???
Do any of those trucks live in Australia or New Zealand?

At that time it had a 2" lift. Check out some of the latter videos.
Do you remember the setup on the navara. It's performed pretty well for a nav
2" lift, 33s, twin locked.

There's no need for that expensive upgrade. Just attach a high lift jack and put on a snorkel, and it's good to go.

Yes, 2" lift and 32" tyres. But being so long is not to its advantage. It's been chopped since that trip. Now looks like a beast :)

sheeesuz. i would never own a navara, theyre got too long of a wheelbase and theyre to low. the red one in this vid was lifted to its max, and it still had trouble. and i have no idea why the guy in the white patrol didnt take his tow hitch out?
The red Navara got rid of the tub since this trip and put a chopped tray on, which improved its departure angles heaps.
The Patrol left the tow hitch on to prevent the bumper from getting damaged.

Great, thanks. I know true wheelers appreciate these types of videos :) Oh, that at the end... That's funny. Because of a big incline (can't really tell on the video) the guy was a bit worried on a 6" lift and swaybars disconnected. Even myself in the 2" lift with swaybars disconnected felt hairy, so I could imagine his feeling.
I wonder if a toyota prado can go there

v6 4.8L patrol??? wow~!! how about fuel consumptions?
It's an inline 6. Yeah, terrible fuel economy. Getting around 27L/100km on freeway, but that's with low diff gears and massive lift and tyres.
