Govt taking anthrax outbreak seriously - CHIKOTE

Government says it is taking the anthrax outbreak as an emergency.
And Fisheries and Livestock Minister, MAKOZO CHIKOTE has attributed the spread of Anthrax to human activities.
Speaking during the Sunday Interview programme on ZNBC TV, Mr. CHIKOTE said the Central Veterinary Research Institute has been tasked to produce more vaccines to address the challenge of the disease.
And Mr. CHIKOTE, who is also Luampa Member of Parliament, has warned that NO one will be allowed to transport animals in and out of the districts affected by the disease.
KAZUNGULA, SINAZONGWE, LUMEZI, SIOMA, SESHEKE, and MONGU are some of the Districts that have been affected by the disease.
