I am in awe aswell... I am a pretty good RC ratrod scratchbuilder, but I can't believe how all theese creative youtubers manage to combine their skills with the whole filming and editing aspect on top... it SO much more work and planning than just doing your thing off cam... :O
It's crazy to think that in even 100 years, nobody may remember Doke or his art, and I'm glad I could be a part of it and just see it. And I'm glad you could make other people happy with your work. Its people like you Doke that make me think world peace is possible just through the power of people being creative and sharing their skills with the world
I think it would depend on the weather. Looking at his video he said it was cold so I might. I'm in Texas and usually when we pressure wash it's dry in a few hours

Super rad project. My father was a welder by trade. He taught me that trades are something that will always be needed; to pursue my art but always have a practical skill in my back pocket. The trades in America have lost a lot of it's admiration for some reason. This was dope. Thanks.🤙
Hey just a suggestion I do a lot of just painting buildings a flat color when I have to clean it like you did with that wall I just use a power washer having one might make that part of your project a lot easier

You should invest in a pressure washer , a cordless sprayer or a cordless air compressor , a cordless work light so that you can work at night , and a short throw laser projector so that you don't have to wait until it gets dark in order for you to draw the outline . You would have finished this in 2 days or less.
Definitely a great design for the location professional yet playful. As always great artwork. Only way I think you could have improved the final result and to make it easier on you would have been to have the wall fully cleaned for you...like pressure washer or somthing like that it would have made it pop and stand out mor vibrently...other than that good job 👏
It’s cool that you’re getting these jobs. Going forward, I’d definitely put in the contract that the client will have the wall pressure washed prior to you starting, so you don’t have to deal with cleaning. That looked frustrating.

A few bigger questions though: --You're not known for super geometric and straight-line work. Why not do something more your style? --Could a pressure washer have been used to clean the wall thus replacing the hours of scraping while providing the paint a better surface to adhere to?
I believe that my more traditional work wouldn’t fit to this place. Also it would be even more challenging because of the structure. Yes, pressure washer would be great but I would need a water source and time for the wall to get dry.

The water source crossed my mind as well and I figured that the school probably has both (a washer and water source) for cleaning up messes/vandalism. But that is also a weird request to ask of a customer. It looks cold there and that would slow down the dry time, but if they knew that they had a tricky wall then they could have allocated additional time for a cleaning.
