I read very recently that Grace Potter is now divorced from the band's drummer, Matt Burr and is engaged and expecting a baby with her record producer...I just discovered GPN and they are terrific!
I'm addicted to Grace Potter videos and I think this is my favorite. Great singing, great guitar playing, great song. i like the band electric, but these acoustic videos are just incredible.
My dad used to play guitar like this back in the mid sixties. Loved by everyone that heard him. But how we needed this truth to be told. Trials as old as the Sun.

For sure, I hate how they aren't as well known as they deserve. Truly one of the best bands in the last 20 years. If you want to learn by ear, train your ear. Start small, tuning by ear, then slowly work it from there. Learn simple songs by ear and spend an hour-two hours doing it every day/two days. It will help develop your listening and in the long run your playing.
