I really like Knockout. He's probably the most beloved and admired Decepticon in Prime, if not, ever. Plus, he's switched sides from the Decepticons to the Autobots, demonstrating his true heroic character and honesty.
To be honest, I heard that he's name vase used countlessly so Hasbro can keep the trademark on it, but thanks for Prime and mr Darren Norris himself, the name knockout is sticks to one character definetly, an off screen chick magnet!(he's called"knockout"because the watching woman are turn into the bimbettes from beauty and the beast under minutes when he opens he's mouth!,And the accompanying sounds are definetly gonna be swoons!)

@@wolfgang6442 Dont forget his last remark about starscream though, he's rude, knockout's environment has always been a very hostile one, with decepticons always threatening to decapitate one another every time theres a slight moment of disrespect or failure, knockout always compliments his comrades whereas everyone else is trying to off one another, you can even see that knockout actually yearns for some level of companionship when ratchet compliments him, he literally stops dead in his tracks when he realizes he was thanked, the autobots treat one another fairly and have very little power structure aside from optimus, whereas decepticons have a very rigid and strict power structure where failure will not be tolerated.
The scene when starscream and knockout were saying their goodbyes it was a lot like in the first season when optimus and arcee said goodbye

The cool thing is, it doesn't really seem like such a long way when you look at it closely. Knockout always seemed like he sided with the Decepticons more for convenience than actual devotion to their cause. And his character reflected that. He only really started to change for the better in the movie, and even then, Knockout just seems like a character who will ride with whatever suits him at the moment. Does make me love him any less though.
@@taliablack4080 Given how rudely he was treated by most of the decepticons, him reacting to ratchet thanking him was really telling that hes only there because they have access to more equipment and that his more evil moments was just his environment rubbing off on him, the moment he hot swaps teams he admits that his role models were not good at all.

Megatron's utter satisfaction as he "informs" Knockout of how the shield works says it all. He gets to shoot at his subordinates without losing manpower, and he's savoring every moment of it.
