If I had not of just bought a set of RX+ I would be seriously considering a set of these especially for the money as they have most of the functions I wanted from the RX+ set (drop back differential, changeable LED colour/brightness depending on light conditions). All the receiver needs is the Bivvy Light function after 3 beeps like the RX+ (but if these had that Fox wouldn’t sell any RX+ sets!!!). Just a shame that the heads don’t take the standard AAA batteries that are available everywhere from Corner shops, garages & supermarkets.

Is there any advantages of now buying more expensive fox alarms such as the mx? These look like they carry similar features.

Great alarms these I have a 3 rod set and love them won't have any others they are awesome
can you set them all to the same color. so for. eg all orange
@@johnsparrow6841 yes you can mate I've just got mine set up like traffic lights from red left to green on the right but you can set them up how ever you want to they have 4 colours anyways which are red, blue, orange and green but yeah ya can set them up all orange if you desire mate
One of my alarms wont registrate with the receiver, I already tried putting new batteries in and things but nothing helps, do you know how to connect it?
Can someone help me I purchased a set of 2 of these and would like to register the 2 alarms to either the 2 middle LED's or the 2 outer LED's on the receiver... Is this possible? As I can only manage to register them on 1 middle and 1 outer LED.
These look good but I won’t be ditching my mk 2 delkims that I traded up to from my Optonics yet, They’ve never let me down in 25 years service and the fact that the original inner workings still remain basically unchanged from all that time ago to now speaks volumes to me.
Also the high price is reassuringly expensive, you get what you pay for in this world. Can’t see any other bite alarms lasting 20 years.
The Nash ones get improved/changed every few years but the Delkims still remain fundamentally the same.The Original (after herons & optonics of course) and the best - all the rest are imposters in my book but good luck to you Mr Fox on trying very hard 👍🏻

I bought last year the Micron MX love them 3+1 for only 230€
Had mine for 5 months or so and absolutely loving them, Time will tell how hardy they are. I'll do a real world review in 6 months or so to see how they're holding up.

@BivvyLife thanks mate I'm going to get a set with the receiver, I've got a set without and I'm well impressed, they do everything I need them to do, been carping a long time, the bells and whistles of tech alarms don't bother me, I want a reliable set that look nice, double l.e.d and tell me when I've got a bite. Fox mini microns have a good rep over the years, these look the business for the price. If the receiver is good I can't fault them at all, thanks again 👍
up to how many meters away can the control unit reach from the indicators?
I’ve two single mini micron x alarms for small day ticket sessions. Will a single receiver connect to the two single alarms? They’re obviously not part of a set.

Is there a way how to sync 1 and 4 on the receiver instead of 1 and 2 if that makes sense. So if I use 2 alarms could I sync my left alarm to the far left light on the receiver and my right alarm on the far right of the receiver?

Had some camo ones 3 weeks .already one is faulty . Had them from new battery all ready died . And the volume tone etc doesn't work.not happy have to say .

Having problems syncing the alarms to the receiver ! Only 2 out of the 3 will sync up tried everything and just won't work. Anyone else had this problem ?

No I found out from fox they changed the chips in the alarms and the new will not work with the old one's and the 3 set had the old chips and the new alarm had the new chips

Alarms are ok but the hard cases are utterly useless. They fall off at the slightest touch. Nothing like the old version cases which stay on perfectly. If you buy these alarms, grab yourself a bag of elastic bands or you will loose the cases on your first trip out like me.
I used a fox lead and bits bag cut the foam insert form the box the alarms came in and store them in there when i use the alarms the hard cases stay in the bag
