This was helpful and well laid out. Thank you. 🙏
High praise coming from you!! Thanks! :)
Love the insight! Keep the info coming! making shredding the streets of NYC look like a stroll in the park!
“Everybody will have a different riding style just as unique as their bodies are…” very well said and great video 🙌🏼🛞💯
Great video, loving the quality. The mic def helped with clarity and ability to hear you well. The foot advice was amazing, you described it so well.
New phone who dis

Love the way you broke this down. I've settled into my style for so long, that I needed something like this to let me know I need to test more options out again.
Awesome explanations on the different foot placements! You're definitely an Urban Street Slayer! Cool under what would be a lot of pressure for me in all the traffic!😅
Lots to think about. I ride both styles but now with knowledge its with a purpose. Thanks a bunch!!!
Really good info, Your confidence around obstacles is impressive.
Great video, very helpful and perfect timing as I’m in the middle of installing dragan hooks for my trail board and it is quite the commitment!
There are some really good tips in this video, great job Quinn 🤙
Never been able to ride with a diagonal or forward foot position, at least not with leg comfort. i typically ride perpindicular 90% of the time, but i do shift around a lot, esp for tricks. Great info in here 💖
*The community needs videos like this!* 👏🏽👏🏽
🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️👌🏽
Great job on this video, very intuitive!
thoughtful & helpful. currently rockin Vivobarefoot Scott IV's 🤙🏾✨️
Living 200 miles from the closest stop light, your urban shredding is quite impressive!
Thank you very much for sharing this, I am a new rider and have been struggling to find something comfortable for me. This was very helpful and I downvoted the negative comment on Reddit that guy can go shove it
Great video.. I recommend referencing heel side and toe side rather than left and right.
You are totally right! I'll try to be more specific about heel/toe side in future videos!
Really good education video. I have my front feet position at 45 degree as well and heel on the edge. This gives me some control and easier to bail. However I find that for harder trails. My feet is not planted deep enough.
I loved this! Miss you and not nearly as good as hanging out but I'll take it!
Miss you toooooo 🫶🫶
great vid, love how you list out all your gear, was about to ask about those gloves! :)
Nice!! Glad that the list was useful to someone! :) These Fxnctions are great
@@quinn_wheel def will invest in those, I really want a board once i get the extra cash
Nice video, mic is great
Just curious. Do you use the x3 or x4 for video capturing. Any preferred modes, especially for natural sunlight changes during dusk?
X4! I usually record in 5.7k 60, definitely larger file sizes (this clip was 50GB before editing!) but worth it for the smoother motion. For really low light situations I’ll use 5.7k 30 for a slower shutter speed for more light
Until recently, feet being locked in was Float gospel.
Do you ride in barefoot shoes? I wear bf shoes myself, but ride in my vans.
Yep! I’ve got two pairs from Realfoot and they’re literally the only shoes I wear nowadays. Can’t go back to the pointy toe mutilators anymore haha
@ do you have any footpads or just thin sole? I have feelgrounds for walking which are amazing, but sole is too thin for ow riding. Cannot imagine do some drops or trails in them 🫣
ur more likely to roll the board riding the centerline. offset stance for the win
PINT DETECTED?! AHHH
Based pinter
no such thing
Foot positions all come down to how you ride. More one wheelers need to carve and not just ride in a straight line.
WHAT ARE THOSE!!!! What shoes are you wearing?
They’re the Winter Farmers from Realfoot! Lots of room for my toes to spread out, sturdy enough for riding, and nice grippy soles!
@@quinn_wheel Hell yeah! I've been rocking the Xero Shoes Prio, those have been the best all around barefoot Onewheel shoes I've used so far, but I've been thinking about getting some boots too
