    I know this video is old but I hope you knew you're supposed to read the sight glass for the oil with the bike on the center stand and on level ground. You wont ever see oil in the glass on the regular kickstand

      Yes it was!! The guy never rode the bike he got it from a race he won on the track he was a motorcycle racer from Maryland named Ralph Young. And he had it on craigslist for sale in 2017 he said nobody ever came to see it so i got a good deal on it just had to put a lot of money into it. once the clutch went i sold it and the gut who has it now loves it and rides all the time

      Rock ‘ n Martin these bikes are awesome bikes brother if you purchase the bike from someone who took care of the bike with very low miles it is an awesome Buy. Also I have done a lot of cosmetic modifications to this bike I've changed only about 45 to 50% of the internals from when this bike was originally made this bike has not skipped one beat and all of my friends ride bigger and faster bikes and I keep up with everyone so easy this bike is a very strong bike it also runs stronger in the winter time do not hesitate to purchase this bike everything for this bike for a beginner and or a seasoned Rider people love his bike when they see me on it they're like oh my God it looks brand-new it sounds beautiful man these bikes are strong don't cross your fingers trust God get the bike take care of the bike do the simple upgrades and modifications to the bike and it will run perfectly fine I guarantee I was going to get a newer bike but I didn't want to spend the money and this bike did not break the bank even on maintenance it does not break the bank it will be an awesome by for you man in the parts are readily available God bless

    • @MicMurphy1981
      @MicMurphy1981  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rock ‘ n Martin also that handlebar kit is called a LSL handlebar conversion kit it's about $500 and I think it comes with steel braided cables also. And it is immaculate to steer I'm up right I'm not leaned over and you can turn and do u-turns and everything so smooth and guess what I did a hundred and fifty-five miles per hour on this bike and I didn't feel any shaking in the steering even without a steering dampener I don't need it the bike runs completely straight once you get the wheels aligned it runs in a straight line

    WOW! This is one of the CLEANEST Kats I've ever seen. Low miles and all. Paint is fucking MINT! My screws on my bar ends stripped so i just left mines. Bro there is going to come a time when u cruise and every 1 has newer style bikes and u want to update yours. Dont do it. I say keep her. You're not going to find another original kat like that ever again. All the exhaust slip ons Ive heard on kats sound good. My 2 bros sounds better then most newer 600s out there. It has a deeper louder tone. But if i had a choice again i would go with a D+D. It sounds stupid loud and obnoxious which I LOVE. Check out suzuki katana group on FB too.

    • @MicMurphy1981
      @MicMurphy1981  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      usoohot thanks!!! i knew you would like it!!! also i look at that d@d exhaust on amazon for about $140 and i saw a guy online with one it sounds great. The exhaust on this is pretty loud for stock. iam not going to modify it much iam going to try to keep it original as possible with just basic mods. i messed up the windscreen..lol trying to do it myself but ill order another one this week. other than that it runs like a brand new bike off the showroom floor. When i finish my mods ill let you know thanks for watching.

    Hi there! Great bike! My friend just shoved me this video. I have to admit, this bike is insane! :D
    I got a black one from 2003. I did some mods on it. I heard you mentioned double bouble in your vid. You need to get one! No need to hide behind it even at the speed of 160-170 km/h.
    If you have some time go and chek out my vids.

    I like that color.
    When you rose the handlebars up, did you have to replace any cables?

    • @MicMurphy1981
      @MicMurphy1981  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      2clinks when i purchased the bike it was like that but i believe he did replace some of the cables becauz if you look down by the forks they look new.
