This video was re-uploaded since yesterday sorry for the confusion. The community comments meant alot yesterday! I wish I could have carried those over! Appreciate everyone.
Seen both videos, liked them both! Introspective, well made (you know your stuff, I can tell). Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to see your new imaging adventures; needless to say I'm sure but, risk assessment is paramount when traveling and venturing in nature solo. I'm sure the best it's just around the corner! Happy 2025!
Thanks for watching both! Im glad you got to see my first cut. That one was special. I am spending the winter planning for these trips I am about to take and getting as prepared possible. Im familar with the areas I am going into but back in the day I was going there for different purposes so I am making sure these will be suitable for deep sky astro from a safe place. I wish you a happy new year and also clear skies! Before you know it we will be past winter lockout and into galaxy season!
@astronotna just to satisfy my own curiosity and to help understand the context, did you suffor a loss? Of course only asnwer if you are comfortable. But I get the feeling, that maybe something was being said, without being spoken. Either way, lots of support for you.
I watched both videos and noticed the absence of certain content. But both were very beautifully done and Shot. Happy holidays to you and looking forward to more content from you. Best regards Luis from NY
Good luck on all your Astro adventures now and in the future I have a question since you have used both which handles guiding in the wind better a eq6r or the am5?
Thanks! Both seem to perform just as well as each other surprisingly. I haven't had any issues with the Am5. In that regard and I live in Washington. I do think just the way the eq6r is built it is more stable especially for heavier set ups. If i wasnt traveling all the time i would probably be still be using it regularly. Hope that helps
@@astronotna that does help a lot most of my shooting is from the backyard but i have access to a few dark sites that i plan to take advantage of in the new year so might just get the eq6r since its a little bit cheaper
