I've recently purchased Apple Glory based on one of your previous videos. Meadow is also a favorite, it is very similar if not identical to Akkerman DM van Huysum's sapgroen. I'm also interested in Mistletoe, good to know that it is very close to Emerald in case I can't find it. Thank you for the review.
This has been a great watch for me. I struggle to get a green I really like. The best I have been able to come up with has been Diamine Sherwood Green with a few drops of Diamine Meadow to lift it a little. Thanks for the great video.
i just want to say thank you for doing these it was the purple inks that set me down this path of discovery my pen is writing so much better now with a proper branded ink i think the cheap inks available in shops could soon put someone off owning a fountain pen and the cleaning one needs i had so much trouble till i found out the hidden lore to this by the way i bought diamine imperial purple and a universal converter that's Faber Castell brand now i just want to write
Interesting; Emerald appears more of a forest green than Emerald. Meadow looks great especially in a finer nib. My favorite Greens are GvFC Deep Sea Green, Olive Green and Stilo e Stile’s Oxydised Copper
I adore green inks. Dave, have you ever considered making TH-cam shorts for your individual pens and inks? They're quite grabbing and I have found a few channels I like through them. It may help more people discover your channel. Some of the larger TH-camrs I watch have spoken in their podcasts about how TH-cam is pushing the concept of shorts- I heard that in a GMM Earbiscuit where Rhett and Link were talking about a TH-cam meeting they had in L.A a few months ago. I think your content could lend itself quite seamlessly to that type of content too. Knowing how much you must edit to post as frequently as you do, I really am only writing this as a suggestion. Always enjoy your videos!
@@PenultimateDave Maybe when you made a new video you could take a little short at the end too? Then, it wouldn't involve the aforementioned clipping of previous videos.
I personally do enjoy using the green and blue inks mostly. This is an informative and beautiful video, thank you 💚
These ink comparison videos are valuable when looking for proper colors of ink. Thank you.

You wouldn’t think there could be so many different greens that you can still easily tell apart.

Was waiting for this, great as always. Meadow is lovely. I personally love Diamine kelly green.
I don't need more ink... but Diamine Meadow is lovely...
Really well done, thanks! I use Mistletoe often and enjoy it. Another you might try akin to Key Lime is Robert Oster Green Green.

I have but it's whether to just edit existing videos which takes a lot of time or to make new videos as shorts.
