Yup, buying a truck vs getting a truck really makes a difference. If you play smart you can afford to buy quite a few trucks as you go through but you definitely cannot buy them all so choosing the right ones is important imo
Let me just propose a name for this fictional new class: Medium Duty class. Bridging the gap between smaller scouts and larger commercial trucks. Alot of the trucks in there are based on actual medium duty rigs. I don't think we should be removing the cargo beds and cranes from them but for sure remove the saddle options and 2 slot beds from those that have them. Instead replace those with autonomous winches and maybe another support module with a small amount of fuel and repair points. The defining trait of a medium duty truck would be they have autonomous winches while still being able to carry a single slot, or can be set up as high endurance scouts and resupply trucks. As for the Sprinter, just give it an autonomous winch and reclassify it as a scout, change nothing else, and it becomes the eastern block answer to the Loadstar.
Oh, fun video. I bought the International Paystar 50/70 as soon as I could afford it after selling the trucks the game gives us at the start and completed the majority of Michigan and Alaska using the 50/70 alone. It tips easily but is very capable. The F750 is my favorite truck but just because I'm a Ford truck fanatic. The truck that is most useful to me is the Wolfpack DLC truck, actually all 3 Wolfpack trucks are pretty good. Thanks Zinng
I love the Voron AE with the balloon tyres and it becomes such an amazing truck! Unfortunately has the sound issue on console which i find is its only drawback but other than that it can really give the Tayga a run for its money.
@@theoriginalzinng nah no mods, i probably have it confused with the 6455B's tyres which i use for logging but still good none the less, your video is very accurate for a hard mode tier list which I find so handy!
@ yeah the tayga B can rock the balloons, it makes a really good crane and flatbed 2 slot truck with the variety of single tires it has available to it

You've done Voron-AE dirty, it's my favourite Voron. To me it feels like a slightly worse Tayga B, I'd put it in low S tier right above Voron Grad. And it's not as thirsty with highrange, it doesn't get enough time to burn fuel :^)
@@theoriginalzinng Maybe it's Derry that has Voron's turning radius 🤔 I agree that steering is SLOW, that's what you want on a fast truck, but the radius itself isn't that bad. I've actually just spawned Voron Grad, Voron AE, and Tayga B, did a full left turn from a standstill, hit the exact same metal beam with the exact same part of the truck.
@ tayga b has a fairly wide radius as well but it has 25% more fuel as well with a bit better economy… however you do make valid points where the grad could be S and the other two could be next to each other in A
And the grad has the best capacity/economy/verstility/engine of the 3 after the Amur engine. I guess my justification being hard mode is you do get the ae for free in Scandinavia and it really does make a fantastic go anywhere fuel truck as the lowest capacity and worst economy voron

Vorons are S tier except maybe for Voron-D which can be A tier. Mack Defense is the best US low saddle, it is also S tier. Meanwhile, Step 310 and Royal BM should both be lower down.
So you are saying all 3 vorons are the best of the best? And Mack just because it's US is also the best of the best? Also I can immediately thing of at least 2 US heavy duty trucks AND maybe 2-3 US heavy class trucks that probably don't belong in heavy that make better US low saddle trucks. I challenge your rating scale... it's not the best of each class and of each region, it's the best for play in hard mode which means trucks you have to buy (vorons except one) are a monetary game decision and fuel consumption needs to be taken into consideration. Also have you used the Step 310 or no?
@ Hi Zing, the tier lists are always subjective, but fun to discuss nonetheless. I said that about Vorons based on their exceptional offroad capabilities as well as addon versatility. They are so good that I feel guilty using them. They may feel boring because they are too capable. Just like you, if I can use a lesser truck, i will go for that to keep things interesting. Same for the Mack. It is very very good. Although it is slightly lacking ground clearance, and fuel can be an issue, but not every region is tight on that.
@ re: Step 310, i used it previously but with its light weight and low ground clearance, i found it lacking compared to others. I think it was Zorshix that inspired me to try it in his Kola videos. This time through i sold it immediately 😀
@@MrCorgh the Mack has far too many downsides to be made up for with addons imo. Again this is specifically based on use in hard mode. Vorons are good but only one stands out imo. @@theoriginalzinng first of all I dont like your explanation much, one of your points was like you said your own unproven theory with 3 axels. I am using mack all the time and I dont have issues in mud or with rocks at all I think its very strong in harsh terrain, its better or comparable with all the russians you put in S tier, fuel consumption is slightly bigger but comparable with tayga 6436 and with bigger capacity, engine torque is in top 3 of all the listed trucks, its very heavy and its probably most versatile truck in a game... It has in my opinion 3 minor weaknesses you did not listed. First its high gear is slow, second AWD is always on and third its low saddle is pretty far from the end of frame but it supports crane+bed+trailer combo and even with this minor issues It should be S tier and saying its in the range of paystar 5070 is shameful
@ all good points making me keep it right where it is, always on awd is not good for this truck and part of the economy issue. High gear I indirectly cover with the torque fade issue especially when using the more efficient multipurpose gearbox. The truck can’t hold high if it drops any speed because of the torque fade issue. Every other truck above it holds high better than the Mack defense. The low saddle placement might be part of the issue. It makes a decent sideboard bed/flatbed truck. But it’s got more flaws than it’s got positives so I’m still confident in where it is. Again as I said many time A class trucks are all very good and will get the job done. There are just other trucks I would rather pay 3500 to take the next map and the Mack is not one of them
@@theoriginalzinng you could try properly test it or just use it :) because of you I took it to the mud pit in first map in michigan next to the garage and than the hill on the left, yellow crane, bed, 1x steel beams, 1x steal beams overloaded and full fuel trailer, transmission only on auto and it had zero use, next your best truck in this list same tires but bigger, it cant have bed and crane so its advantage, it goes through mud with ease same as mack but in the hill it stopped 3 times and I had to put it in low and lastly I tried step 310 again same tires I dont have strongest engine unlocked but on the other hand it didnt support bed + crane +trailer so I went without trailer and again very good in mud I would say slightly worse than the previous ones and it stalled in the hill one time, all three consumed same amout of fuel... this is very broad test I admit but still I would say Mack is S or atleast on pair with tayga
@ using a mack in michigan isnt testing its abilities, take it to kola, take it to amur, take it to the slop in the foothills of yukon, get it hung on rocks. even season 10 where it comes from, load it up as a low saddle with the multipurpose box and take it up the root ridden hills of duncan bay. the footage from this video is just footage instead of people starting at a tier list at the whole time and not "testing" footage. I've used the mack plenty and ive said over and over that its a very good truck, i just refuse to put it in S for the reasons i've given
Totally disagree with your opinion on the Azov 5 > Bandit. Azov 5 has no roof rack and its steering is a bit slow which doesn’t pair well with a fast truck. Bandit is actually most stable with the balloon tires. The JATs are way too bouncy whereas the balloons are stiffer. Bandit has always on diff. lock and again the roof rack plus it has a lot of addons. Use it with a high range gearbox and the balloon tires with crane + sideboard bed or low saddle. A great truck but pick good lines that reduce leaning because it’s tippy and that makes it fun and challenging. Azov 5 needs 100 liters more fuel to be practical.
Yeah the speed and the mobility of the bandit is fun, like i said full send that thing in normal where you get it for free but the azov 5 i think takes only the 1 spot above it. Either way they are both very close and both not the greatest buys for hard mode but they are the two best B class trucks imo

No voron can use Tayga Balloon tires (TMHS) so you must be using a modded version if you have them

It has in my opinion 3 minor weaknesses you did not listed.
