You are wonderful sir!
After an entire day trying to connect 3 pc's to my printer (printer host pc Win 10 Pro + Win10 Home + Win7) two were successful and I even managed to run test prints. The Win10 Home failed but 2 out of 3 ain't bad as the saying goes. And thanks to you I think I know what I need to do. I watched several videos but, as someone mentioned below, you nailed it! Thank you!

No, you need a same internet connection on both computer with lan cable connected. And you can also use network sharing by wifi with the same conditions
