Discover how AI can improve and speed up your web design process. Using AI to create a website can significantly reduce the time and effort required compared to traditional methods. Despite the perception that AI may replace designers and developers, it can enhance and complement their work. Learn how AI and web design can work together in this tutorial, where we’ll use AI for web design to build an entire eCommerce website in minutes.
Learn how to use ChatGPT and Midjourney to build a website. ChatGPT is an AI-powered chatbot platform developed by OpenAI, using the GPT-3 language model to generate human-like responses to user input. It allows for custom responses, conversation flows, and integration with other tools. Midjourney AI is an independent research lab that creates images from textual descriptions using its proprietary AI program. With a simple prompt, it can generate matching images, like OpenAI's DALL-E and Stable Diffusion.
In this tutorial, we’ll discover how AI can be utilized for not just website planning, but also for creating a site map, copy, assets, and even a color palette. Join me in using AI to design a website and share your experience afterwards via the comments below. You can create beautiful websites with AI, so try it out and let me know how it goes. I was laid off as the webdesigner/developer from a small company in Denver last year to save them money but after using MidJourney and ChatGPT I can see that I could now replace the entire marketing department. They likely have no idea that they can use this. Sad for them.

Man I´m not so sure. It´s no real products. So why did he created this video? Just to show us how easy it is to create a crazy looking page in minutes? But he wont make a sale with them, unless he uses real images. Then why would he use midjourney? - Only for inspiration and rebuild? And also I´m not sure if I would use a fake ai image as backround...

I'd be curious to see a tutorial on building a site on a section by section basis or even doing an inner page. Most of these tutorials coming out have been great but they all focus on the same thing, the home hero section and not the rest of the page. This tutorial was great and it's nice to see the nice tempaltes EditorX has but I'd working on ways to implement with Wordpress! Still amazing to see how well this is helping with the creative stage!

You, sir, are a wizard. I graduated from the Advanced Institute of Technology for web design and development in 2009. I've built websites ever since. I have actually have known about AI for less than a month, and boom, you are right, this is the future. I have a liquor project and it took me a long time to put it together I think it's OK, but you've shown me the new way, and this will be the way. A web designer must master the technique you have shown because the rules of construction will only grow on what you have shown. Personally, I think it is beautiful and I feel fortunate to have learned this method from you. Thank you.
A person must be competent in graphic design programs, #1 of which is Photoshop. This is really a great video. I feel like the little eagle birds in the nest receive worms to survive to grow into great big birds. Thank you your worms. (Ha ha :)

Quick story. Early this year I had a problem with my T-Mobile router. The whole system across the nation crashed at 10pm one night. When it came back the next morning, my router was dead. I am off the net.
Short story. They sent me three routers after that. Each time it doesn't work I have to walk to the UPS store and ship it back. I do this three times. I'm detecting a pattern here, so the brain clicks in. Follow me on this it gets complicated.
So, I say forget this idiotic back and forth sending routers that don't have sim cards, sim cards that if they are displaced from a position and can not be placed back into their slot. It's the nature of Chinese engineering and the last one was sent to me having to put the original SIM card into the router, and this after my telling them that that is not possible.
So, I going to send back the 3rd router. They send me a label it's going back. So, the light bulb comes on. Buy a new router. Start from scratch with a new one, brilliant, wish I thought of it earlier.
OK, I send the 3rd router back and I have the new router, take it home and start it up and I'm good. This was February. Today I check my bank account I'm getting charged $150. I have no idea what for. My monthly charge is $50.
So, I got about $500 in the bank and they taking $150. So, I call them and ask what's the deal here?
I won't bore you with the 1-hour long session. Apparently, after I sent all 3 routers back and bought the new one they charged me for having 2 lines. OK. I don't have two lines, and I never had two lines, They can fix it, only they took my $150 for the month, and they'll give it back next month.
So, here is the knock. I have sent these people 4 busted routers, and I buy a new one. They made a new line and sent me a normal bill, the $50 a month. And then they sock it to me with a $150 bill.
Now, it gets worse. OK, I want to get into my account to see the note the CSR said she would send. Know I am told I am unable to access my account...forever!
Apparently, old accounts are Ok, but for new accounts like mine, new accounts are locked out of the system. T-mobile has been locked out of that system. Nobody knows why. I talked to a 2nd level of tech support and he says nobody knows what going on.
I told him it sounds like they got hacked and locked out, otherwise, why not transfer the data to a new database. They would if they could, but they can't. And no one knows.
All the people that bought 5G routers after Feb. 22nd cannot access their accounts online. So, they may get a wild-looking bill and they won't be about to find out anything from their online account.
Now hypothetically, I calculated 200,000 people, a small number buying a T-mobile router, and if they all got this $150 mistake, T-Mobile as of today has collected $30M.
Now, if the buyers opted for paperless, there is no way for them to see what is happening inside their account, and if they had the auto-pay, they will buy that extra amount every month until it's fixed. So, if you got no reason to think anything wrong it may be weeks before you find out you are being overcharged. I'm changing carriers soonest.

    • @CreativeCrewCommunity
      @CreativeCrewCommunity  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hey Amir! Thanks for your kind words and for being a long-time viewer of my courses. I'm glad you've found them helpful. To answer your question, currently Editor X does not have built-in functionality for reselling website templates, but there are ways to make it happen. However, it would require some manual setup and it's not as simple as a one-click install. As for now, Editor X is mainly used for more hands-on customization for clients, but that could change in the future. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I have been wanting to put up my website so I was following along just to see how to do this and I ended up with an actual website, quite by accident, that I really can use for my business. :-) How awesome is that?! So, thank you for the step by step through this process and connecting in midjourney which I used to make a very nice banner and mockups for my actual prodcut listings. I used affinity Photo, Affinity Designer, and Affinity publisher to do the editing becasue they are similar to and sometimes better than photoshop and/or indesign. I am currently a Computer Science student and I know how to code websites but I also know how to use Editor X and Webflow. I want to target bigger businesses and organizations that have outdated websites. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your question! That's a great goal and I'm sure you can achieve it with the right combination of skills. I would recommend that you develop both coding and no-code website building skills. Coding is great for creating websites with custom functionality, while no-code website builders like Editor X make it easy to quickly create professional looking websites with deep business integrations for your clients. You can then use your coding skills when needed to add custom functionality or to create specialized websites for your clients.
Ultimately, the choice of whether to use a no-code website builder or code from scratch should depend on the specific needs of your clients. I hope that helps! Have you thought of your business configuration? Sole proprietor, LLC, or corporation.
I don't know where you bank but your bank will need an official paper you are doing business, I say this because you mentioned going after big or medium-sized businesses.
I am comfortable telling you no viable business is going to use your services if you are not a legal entity. A lot of paperwork is involved. How is your database game? prepared to just modify and build it from scratch. How are your soft skills? Lots of questions to ask to know what kind of site to build so you don't have to be changing every time on a whim.
Are you a handshake or contract guy. figured out what your standard services will be, and what the prices will be for your service? will you charge by the hour or project, if you charge by the project are you prepared to demonstrate why you charging all that for your services?
Web Design and Development is a walk in the park really easy. Know who your competitors are? American Eagle is the biggest where I am. Ever heard a web design company commercial?
All this BS is to get you to think about some things I ran into that were important to me.
Check out the American Eagle.com website and look closely and see if you are impressed. Just remember they have a lot of staff. Everything is not as it appears to be.

Say this to chatGPT to make things sounds more human-like:
"When it comes to writing content, two factors are crucial, 'perplexity' and 'burstiness.' Perplexity measures the complexity of text. Separately, burstiness compares the variations of sentences. Humans tend to write with greater burstiness, for example, with some longer or complex sentences alongside shorter ones. AI sentences tend to be more uniform. Therefore, when writing the following content I am going to ask you to create, I need it to have a good amount of perplexity and burstiness. Do you understand?"
