I agree. The poor kid drove 4 hours back and forth to pursue his dream and when he finally did, his dream was taken away in a matter of few years. He knows how to rap and he can rap fast in both high and low tone, he knows how to compose and write music; he knows how to sing; he knows how to dance and come up w/ choreos. I also agree about Dae...i honestly think he is the best. I havent heard anyone having a big vocal range like he does. He can do low and really high and opera-like style. To me personally, Jonghyun of SHINee was the one that I can place on the same level w/ Dae, but he's gone. Also, Jongup is hands down the best dancer -- he has his own signature and he is very diverse -- no other idol can be equally good in modern lyrical dance and breakdance, as well as all others

*Not only underrated, B.A.P is known to be "The Dark Horse of Kpop Industry".*
*"We don't expect your cheers, just your anticipation. Because we're confident in turning your anticipation into cheers."*
Papa Bang said that on their earlier years and they made that happen.
Now, Koreans do cheer for B.A.P in their heart. People don't mention them a lot but deep down their hearts, B.A.P has earned the admiration of the people.
Even if they don't particularly like the genre, they still admire B.A.P for their artistry, professionalism and the message they want to deliver to the youths and society. It is embedded.
Forever gonna be proud of them and no regrets that I've stan B.A.P wholeheartedly.

@@royaljius I relate to this so much. I know BTS has done amazing things and opened up many doors, i mean they are legendary and i stan them all day, ive seen them in concert and i just love being an ARMY, but i get so sad thinking about how B.A.P was so amazing too and they seemed to be right on the edge to so much major success; they had "IT" everything a group is supposed to have they had it, but unfortunately they just didn't have the right people to believe in them and help take them to the next level, having the right people behind you is important. Bighit knew BTS would be superstars from the very beginning and they did/ still do everything they can to make them successful, they are such a great company. Same with GOT7 and JYP, NCT 127 and SM they really do push/promote and believe in their artists. It just pains me that B.A.P didn't get to be as big as they could've been, as they should've been because they deserved it😣. It would be cool to see them still together, TS ent really lost out on having this group take on the world. All we can do is just appreciate the wonderful music they did make, they are always gonna be remembered and loved, and we wish them all well in their careers. Hopefully some day they can reunite on stage you never know, at least we can be happy that they still keep in touch and support one another. They will always be missed❤

I do find it interesting you said that BAP talked about world issues and other important social subjects, as if they were the one first ones to speak about it. More than likely, there have been other groups before them has spoken about world issues before BAP. They're just hard to find and you probably never heard of them before as well. What's up with this mentality of "They spoke about it first"? When I think it's natural for any of us humans wanting to talk about world issues that are important to us.

@@marleymarss firstly, I didn't say they BAP talked about it first. Secondly, stop generalising everything...im making two comparisons here. These two groups, BTS and BAP were very successful at their time hence why I'm making the comparison. BTS are lucky they had a great record label but that was unfortunate for BAP thats why they are no longer around (but are still doing solo stuff). BAP's songs were majority about world peace as BTS, thats the comparison my love.

Well... I remember when BTS debuted people said that they were "the sons of Block B and BAP". Both groups where on the first wave of the "bad boys" concept and BAP's lyrics where ashtonishingly relatable to the common people and very uplifting. Before that we had BigBang and some B2st and 2PM songs that weren't really that "bad boy"-ish. So BAP along Block B were a new and exciting concept, they shared many fans and we were waiting for a collab that never came. Both groups found themselves on hiatus and lawsuits... And after they came back to their fans... Well, it wasn't the same, they had lost the initial boost. BAP never really recovered from that and Block B, I guess, had to make peace with the fact that they had money to realese new songs because of Zico's fame, but managed to make some bops in the end.
😔 They both could have been so big if it wasn't for their companies...

I'm a BABY since their debut. I'm still a BABY, and I will always be. These guys gave everything they had to make their music. I was there when they smashed up all the records in USA, in Europe, in Asia...I was there when TS cut off Himchan from One Shoot promotion because of a stupid injury at one finger. One finger. Come on: maybe he has to sing with his finger? I was there when TS destroyed them the first time, in 2014: I was in Dusseldorf, in front of their stage, and I saw, and heard Daehyun's voice break from crying cause he couldn’t reach the high notes anymore. He was out of breath. I heard the guys on that stage change their lines cause they were out of breath. All of them. I was there during the hiatus. And I was there when they decided to continue working with TS. And I wasn't happy. At all. You can't change the spots on a leopard. I was there in Milan for the second Live On Earth. OMG, it was amazing. Amazing. But you know, like I said before, you can't change the spots on a leopard. I was there when TS forced Himchan to perform Wake Me Up in the live shows with a broken rib. I was there when TS tried to destroy them for the second time. But the guys said no. They said stop. You know, I don’t care if they could have reached BTS. This story can never be told. I don't care. For me, they're my number one, they're my star. They have my heart from the beginning, and I still get tears in my eyes thinking about all the evil things TS has done to them. One year ago I went to London for Yongguk solo tour. And there, on a small stage, I could see the real Yongguk. Happy. FREE. All of them now are free. I hope to see them on the same stage one day. Together again. But their music is still here. Here. And no one can ever erase it. I don't care of the record, who is better than who. They have my heart, and for me is enough. Enough.

Just a reminder for everyone who may not be a Baby (B.A.P's fandom name), all of the members have said continually and multiple times that B.A.P still exists. That they will come back together. They haven't disbanded. They are taking the opportunity with military enlistments to work on projects they've all wanted to do to grow musically. However, they will be back once again. That being said Yongguk, Daehyun, Jongup, and Zelo have all be working on separate projects, so if you liked anything you saw here please go support them like they support each other! Peace.

You shouldn't feel bad about anything you've discovered that are from the past. No one should really. Finding old (it's a very grey area because what is old really mean? It can mean almost anything) music you've never heard before to me is like going back in time of an era and feeling the excitement that the fans before us has experienced and understanding why. It's generations coming together on common grounds should be an excitement for any of us.

Saw them in Atlanta for their forever tour, Sad af to see them rise and fall like that man. What’s even worse is seeing them slowly lose members which is imo worse than a disbandment because it’s a slower longer drawn out process before disbanded usually follows. By far one of the best Boy Groups to ever do it tho and screw TS for not capitalizing on their massive success in 2013.

still listening to them in 2022 and honestly B.A.P will forever be my heartache. I got into kpop exactly when their hiatus started. I browsed most of the top groups at the time and they were my favourite from the start. Such talented, incredibly dedicated and lovable individuals. I felt right at home, consuming all kind of B.A.P content that came my way. They would've gone places had their label treated them fairly. I remember seeing Daehyun go out on stage with hospital bands and IV injection traces and still sing live. They were overworked, underpaid and basically abused, still carried on with concerts and gave their best to their fans. I loved their dark themes, how they used their music to communicate bigger issues in the industry and the world. Once the group had officially disbanded I fell off the kpop hype train. So yeah, they were and are a big deal to me and I'll always miss the band and mourn the endless potential they had. P.s. their Japanese rock tour is the greatest piece of live music I've heard. Absolutely recommend

I got into kpop in January of 2012 and B.A.P. was the first group I ever stanned. I've been to all of their world tours (Chicago), and their final OT6 concert in Seoul when I was studying at EWHA University. Since I was 15 they had always been that group that had a song/concept for whatever issue I was battling or needed encouragement for at the time. There are many times where I wonder what I would have done in my youth had I not had an amazing vocal piece like B.A.P. to help me along the way. They were also the first foreign group I saw that truly respected and tried to better understand my culture (African American) in a non-ignorant way. I have mad respect and love for each member of B.A.P. (my bias is Jongup), and I will continue to support them and be a BABY for life!

Daehyun and Youngjae were such power house vocals complimenting each other and Jongup was a great dancer, my favorite dancer ever with underrrated vocals. If anything BTS was already around and still were no competition for BAP... which is exactly why they are big now. facts no jokes it’s written in the kpop Bible ✋🏻3rd gen kpops distinctive style + and every generation after that is influenced by it, wouldn’t exist without B.A.P. They were the ones who really started blending actual rap, not idol rap lmao, with genres like rock, EDM, pop, RnB and so many more. Comparing B.A.Ps debut concept to BTS’s, the influence from B.A.P is very prominent. Not in a bad way. Just giving credit where it’s due.
B.A.P were absolute legends. Diverse, unafraid to try genres other idols have never experimented in before, every member is talented in all aspects (singing, dancing, rapping) with each member having their own specialty and distinct style. great team dynamic, they’re practically brothers and last but not least they truly truly show such genuine love for their fans. As a kpop stan since middle school(technically retired because I drifted away once b.a.p left the scene) who has stanned many a groups in my career, I have never seen a group so close and open with their fandom whether it’s discussing mental health, trusting each other enough for the members to be able to walk directly into the audience during shows and give fanservice, confident that no one would touch, grab, or shove inappropriately.
It’s really SUCH a shame how badly TS screwed them over. Even now just thinking about the whole situation back then gets me so arsed. They would have been at the top of the top right now if it werent for TS’s lazy, dirty, shady, crusty, cheap and greedy ass, they wouldn’t have been conned of their fame the way they were.

I know this video is 3 years old now, but if it still matters: hello, I am/used to be a BABY. I don't listen to their music as much anymore, but they will forever hold such a dear place in my heart. I think it was during their Badman era that I got into them and kpop as whole and while I found other groups to enjoy, such as BTS or Block B, it was really B.A.P that captured my interest. My best friend and I would fangirl so much over them and I'd even write and read B.A.P fanfiction on AsianFanFiction. My bias was Yongguk, I always found him so sweet and charming. Kpop as a whole enthralled me for a good few years, but it was always B.A.P that kept me interested, so once they disbanded, everything changed and I lost interest in the genre. More and more scandals were coming out (I actually got into kpop while Kris was leaving EXO) about how badly the idols were treated and I just couldn't enjoy the music anymore with a clear conscience. The B.A.P boys definitely deserved so much better than what they got. TS Ent had no idea what treasure they had on their hands, which is evident by how they squandered it. I do think that had they been managed properly, they'd be at BTS level now. It's a shame, but I hope the boys are happy now whatever they're doing.

God, I remember BAP coming out with Warrior and being AMAZED. Never had I seen a concept like that before.
The rap was FIRE. Zelo had that fast-speed rap style - man, he was going places. And Yongguk with his deep voice... he had us all wrapped. That whole MV was a RIDE.

Not to mention the fact that Bang Yongguk wrote and produced 99% of all their music, as well as music for other artists. Stan BAP. Stan talent.

I mostly listened to metal and rock and never got Kpop until I listened to BAP and "Skydive" is badass as hell.

I consider BAP one of the best and most special kpop groups ever. A group that well rounded is rare to see. They produced their music, their chemistry was undeniable, their vocals were incredible, the dancing was phenomenal, and the music they made were more than just songs they were anthems. I will forever be salty for this and it's a shame that labels will never understand how having good relationships with their artists will benefit them in the long run.

I feel like this is one of the times that I really feel my age in this Kpop community. BAP was MASSIVE just a bit after I started listening to Kpop and while I wasn’t a huge fan I did like their music and I knew the members. It kind of hurts to see them just go like this. I hope they find good companies in the future.

I still have hope they'll come together one day 3> One of the best absolute perfect ult groups that I've ever got into
    Great rappers
    Great vocalists
    Great dancers
    Great performers
    Great energy
    Great personalities
    Flawless discography
My biases are both Yongguk and Daehyun but in love with the rest of the members
TSE did them dirty like they did with SECRET

I am still a BABY. I know my biases are still doing their solo careers, they do try, but it's not as well known nor in similar vibe as B.A.P. was. I love that Daehyun and Jongup are still singing and performing and doing what they love, but their personal vibes are not giving me as many chills as they did when Yongguk was the one producing their music.
I was a SHINee and U-KISS stan before them, but man, I consider B.A.P. a band the closest to my heard. Didn't got the chance to attend their concert and it breaks my heart so much at the way TS Ent. treated them.
    Once a BABY, always a BABY ♥
