- Miami defeated Boston College, 45-20 in ACC Football action. Hurricanes quarterback Tyler Van Dyke threw for 290 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win. Running back Henry Parrish Jr. rushed 11 times for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jacolby George and Colbie Young each caught touchdown passes in the game. BC quarterback Thomas Castellanos threw for 151 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another 130 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

So we are 7-5 this season and could have been 10-2/11-1.. were definitely better than our record says. I hope we get a good opponent and good bowl game.. let's go CANES..we need to Win an ACC Championship 🏆

Im glad fans are atleast seeing we are steadily trending in the right direction...that being said mistakes was made..some blown plays but everytime i see them out there all 11 on both side of the ball give everything..idc what level u played at but facing teams like that are just going to be hard to beat

Even with the win its hard to argue Miami is nothing more than a mediocre football program. Similar now to North Carolina basketball program. Traditional power that is lucky to throw together a five game win streak at best, sandwiched by several losses.

Miami football program been through a lot they're trying to dig themselves out of a hole. Just a couple of more pieces and miami should be a good team next year.
@@v.l.c3979 Sorry just dont see it. Miami fans been saying it for 17 or 18 years now. Current Miami program is haunted by its glorious past. The glory days aren't coming back to the past Miami dynasty. Best case for Miami going forward is coincedelty Oregon type program Mario left in that one that is in the playoff conversations early but loses 2 to 3 games after that initial conversation, ala 2017. Miami was great in its day, truly innovative program and feared, but it's never coming back close to that level despite all the high school football talent in South Florida.
Miami may never go back to the dominance they had over college football in the 80s.
However , this team is not "mediocre" either , as you say. The team proved this year a considerable improvement over last year's team , the defense has been really dominant , the OLine has improved a lot too , we have good WRs and good RBs. The only thing that stopped us from possibly being undefeated right now was TVDs inconsistency. Had TVD played consistently the way he did the first four games, we would be either 11-1 or 12-0 now. The QB issue will be solved this off-season with a good QB transfer , plus a more experienced Emory Williams in his second year.
We will never be the team of the 80s again , but we can become a really good team again at the level of Alabama , OSU , Georgia , etc. , and yes to the detriment of certain haters out there who wish the Hurricanes ill , we'll be challenging for National Championships sooner than later.
