Thanks Paul a really interesting video. I'm new to the sax; learning on a soprano, which I realise is not the best route but it's what I have. Definitely going to join premium when I'm a bit happier with my intonation. Thanks again.
Thank you just watching your short video it has helped me greatly in improvising. I've had my alto sax for 3 years but not picked it up as often as I should so not really moved on. But again your videos have given me insensitive to crack on and learn thank you🦅
Gracias por la ayuda a los que iniciamos. Than you for your help to beginners. I liked your lessons (I hopes write good), my english no is very good. I hopes that your video have subtitles in spanish soon.
Excuse me Bro, I'm very new to alto sax, can you tell me if this is the LA minor pentatonic? what fingering did you use because it seems that instead of being more than 5 notes
Yes this is using the A minor Pentatonic scale A C D E G, you then can expand the range to higher and lower notes, but only using A C D E G, that's why it sounds like there are more than 5 notes. I hope that helps.
Check out some of my more recent videos, they all display scores with the note names underneath. This was one of my first ever videos so I was still learning how to put these together!

Hello, thanks for this classe. Can you put the sequence of notes you were playing in these exercises? It will help me a lot, thx again.
This video doesn’t have a PDF transcription, but on alto sax I’m using these notes A C D E G, the A minor pentatonic scale. I hope that helps.
I like the way you demo this tutorial. Can I use this technique and the scales on the violin. I know it may sound different. 👍
Definitely!

Who was that person who said nice?
I’m not sure of their name actually!
your videos are not beginner friendly, It would be nice you display the scores in the video while you are playin. tq
Check out some of my more recent videos, they all display scores with the note names underneath. This was one of my first ever videos so I was still learning how to put these together!
Improv and scores don’t really need each other.
