this is one of, if not the best documentation video of the NS upper Lehigh line I've seen! I live very close to this line within 2 miles of walnutport and it is great really great to see this footage! also, I love the narration! that only makes the video more awesome! happy railfanning to you and thank you, and I liked and subbed! I favor shots and films of this line because I grew up closest to it, plus, not many seem to film any trains here.
Nice video.... I caught all 3 of those 13Ts myself here in Scranton.... Interesting story behind all three, especially the one with the Canadian Pacific #6228 leader.... He was super-late having come through Scranton at around 1-2 p.m. so you must've caught him in the mid-to-late evening.... Also, did you notice the rare scale test car at the end?... Caught me totally by surprise. Almost didn't get the one with the CSX and the Lehigh Railway power.... That ran on a Saturday. Remember it well.... That CSX SD70MAC came back up the next day leading 12T (CP #932 by the time it hit the DuPont Jct) with the crew outlawing in Dalton. If you want to see all of the trains (most of them anyway) that ran in the last year or so through NEPA you should check us out @ Trains21.org....
2:36 I got that train up in the Lehigh gorge, I wasn't expecting to get a daylight train let alone a CP SD60 leading.th-cam.com/video/wYvVGMyUqeo/w-d-xo.html here's my take on the train
