Imagine that….teenagers having more sense than the so called “parents” to know that leaving toddlers alone and living in filth isn’t right.
If you hear the story, they said the dad assaulted the mom and he violated the restraining order she has against him. Maybe she was taken away against her will?

I hope someone is able to help that Grandma. It is apparent she is stressed with the the sudden responsibility of four children 4 and under. My heart goes out to her. The children are lucky to have her and not be put in foster care. Hopefully a local group can reach out with assistance with grocery shopping and obtaining clothing/ diapers for her. God Bless her! Luckily the teens came along and found them as we could be reading a much sadder story.

It’s amazing how CPS will just drop kids with family members who really won’t have the resources to care for them. Happened to my MIL with my other family member who abandoned their child in a parking lot.

Are you out of your mind? I'm black in a majority black neighborhood those teens needed to call the police. This story could have been way worse! What if somehow that house would have burned down with those kids in it, then what would you be saying. Everything isn't about race. Perhaps you should listen to this story again. The parents left children ages 4 and under to care for themselves while they were at an hotel 30 minutes away. This story is about neglect and neglect has no color.
@Jiv Kan In opposition to taking a stance that these babies were black and let them roam as skin colours are different than theirs? It was the teens that just happened to be walking and they did not see skin colour as an obstacle but poured open their hearts with unbelievable compassion, kindness and unconditional love.

Those babies stayed together the whole time!! That breaks my heart that they know they’re their only support system at even that young age
when you’re that young all you got is your parents, and when they’re out of the picture so sudden then they truly are on their own. The fact that these kids aged 4 and YOUNGER were left for 2 days just blows my mind.

I worked at a jail facility answering phones where a woman was brought in with her boyfriend who she had a restraining order against. They were both held under suspicion for something for 3 days, called "probable cause". She neglected to tell the arresting officers that she had left her 13-year-old daughter home with six younger children. That poor girl called me telling me she was getting in trouble with her school for not coming to school but she had to take care of her siblings and when were we going to let her mother come back home.

Michael, his friends and his mom are absolutely HEROES! It’s terrifying to think about 4 children under 4yrs old being left alone to fend for themselves for 2 days while their parents enjoy themselves at a hotel 30 min away. Thank God the teens found the house and got the baby that was still there also. I hope their parents never get custody of them after this. Some people don’t deserve to be parents!!
They'll get them back. The government demands that POC children be kept in dangerous living conditions, and they claim it's because "we don't want to split up families." Yet they also do things like remove and drug children for being born at home instead of in the hospital, despite the fact that their parents clearly love and care for them, and they are healthy and happy. A few years ago, a little boy, five years old, was put back with his abusive parents, even though the judge knew full well that he would be killed. He was. But the judge justified it by saying that the kid was Native American and that it was better to be killed by his biological parents than to grow up healthy and happy with a family that wasn't Native. He wouldn't have said that about a white child.
Not trying to defend the actions of either parent, but perhaps the mother was FORCED to go the hotel by the abusive father! They said he was ordered to stay away from her remember, and that he’d began assaulting her again.
They both look in their 20’s I don’t know maybe older… Also, one of the kids said they thought the mom was dead, and that she’d been in a crash.
Poor grandmother, 😕 looks wiped out. God Bless her, and those innocent babies. So much gratitude for those wonderful young teens, who had the wherewithal to take charge of the situation!!! They are hero’s who knew EXACTLY what to do to help! Bless the young man who knew to take the children to HIS mom(bless her too!) who also cared for the children. God placed them there that night. Otherwise, the whole situation could have played so different. That’s a scary thought! God always has a plan.
@@fayjafa3169 It does seem pretty weird! I was thinking maybe a baby sitter bailed on em or didn't show up, but that doesn't explain the 'crash'. Sounds like there was a loud noise near when the parents left.

I applaud these kids for their quick thinking! It’s incredible to me that children were the ones to save other children. They were very brave to do what they did. Raising them right!

Yea it’s sad how a lot of women are brainwashed into taking back abusive male “Significant Others” (if they even deserve that title, since in my opinion abusers, shouldn’t be seen as significant people). Poor babies! I can’t even imagine all the traumatic things they witnessed. Hearing that one of the tots thought her mom was dead, broke my heart 😢
What a sad mother to choose a violent partner over her children. Will never be able to fathom that. Thank you to the teenagers and to the momma that cleaned, fed, clothed them that night in her home. I wish they could find a loving home to be in forever. Together.
These teenagers made me very proud .. I was loosing faith in the new generation but it’s nice to see teenagers care for children and babies

Well she’s the mother of one of those useless “parents”. Those children should be placed in a good home where none of those family members will be allowed to be near them.
They should be charged with attempted murder too, for leaving young children alone and neglecting them for so long! Anything could have happened to those babies. Some people really don't deserve to have children. It's gonna be so hard on the grandma, I hope she get's help with them, and the kids are raised safely, healthily and shall prosper.

For someone who’d love to be a parent someday, I can’t believe that when you’re given these beautiful gifts that you’d treat them like this.
I know. I cannot believe all the stories I see of children being neglected or abused, and murdered. I know there are women out there that cannot have kids, and yet kids are placed with murderous parents in foster homes. Thank God for these teens.

It’s actually a blessing in disguise that those babies were outside so they could be rescued by those teens. What a great bunch of kids taking care of those babies and making sure they were safe.
Grandma is probably overwhelmed if the house was a mess besides 4 babies to care for. Hopefully there are other family members involved. I can understand her behavior with that reporter. She probably hasn’t had 1 minute to even sit down so I’m sure she doesn’t have time to talk about her dysfunctional granddaughter. Hopefully these babies with end up in a happy home where they will be well cared for and if possible keep all the siblings together. The mom and dad both need to stay in jail they endangered those children’s lives. It sounds like the parents aren’t following the laws to take care of themselves when you have DV with restraining orders and your together at a hotel probably creating baby number 5. IMO they do not deserve to have children if they are going to neglect and abandon them. Put them in a safe home.

This poor elderly woman had to deal with getting a phone call in the middle of the night from child services asking her to take 4 kids that she probably hadn't had contact with in a long time... The last thing she needed was a news person with a microphone in her face banging on her door while the kids were upset and trying to adjust to their new surroundings
It's interesting how people exaggerate stories, even when others just watched the same thing happening. The reporter didn't bang on the lady's door, she rang the doorbell. And she didn't have the microphone on the lady's face, she gave her space and only asked politely how the babies were since the lady had no time to talk.

As far as I’m concerned the reporter was aggressive and imposing her will on her. That’s exactly what I saw and she didn’t even offer to give or provide assistance. Any of us would’ve been overwhelmed too.

I guest not she had to prepare what was coming her way.
These people can’t handle all those kids anymore. I am glad they have been taken away. Not sure if the elderly lady is capable of handling this situation either. I am sure she is angry she is being bothered and videoed. A person can only take so much of a difficult situation.

The grandmother had an Irish lilt in her voice, so I’m going to assume four babies happened in four years from lack of birth control due to religion (most likely Catholic). I see low self esteem & lack of education at work here. The absence of self-worth is horrifying; children are an extension of their parents, so if the parents don’t care about themselves, they’re going to treat their kids like trash.
Three of them sought help. The other must've been to young and was put back in the crib, only to climb out once help arrived. So glad these babies are safe. Hope the parents never have custody or time alone with any of the children.

Thank God those teens found the babies when they did and reacted immediately! I do pray that the grandmother receives some help with those babies. She looks overwhelmed, rightfully so. I’m sure this responsibility was placed in her lap with only moments notice. My hat goes off to all the grandmothers that have to assume the role of parent for a second time due to the irresponsibility of their child.
Why wasn't welfare called? It was horrid to dump these babies in her lap. Rem she was the one who raised the kid who left these little ones alone.

do some research into foster homes and if there parents dont come back in time they become wards of the state and if they do get a chance for foster parent they are rarely kept together foster care can be just as bad
Foster care isn't the idyllic place you have created in your head. Just ask kids who have been through the system, and as Goku stated, most likely, they would be separated.

A big THANK YOU to the teens who took action when they saw 3 little children walking around alone at night. The children took them to their house where another toddler was. After surveying the poor living conditions of the home, the teens took all 4 children to the teen boys home where his mother took action to bathe and feed the children. WE NEED MORE STORIES LIKE THIS and far less of billionaire sisters pranks and dysfunction.

The report said this wasn't the couple's first dealing with the law. The only reason she has those kids now is to not have further embarrassment from the community. Everyone in their community knows who she is, who her daughter is and who those kids are.

It sounds to me like he probably took her to that hotel to prostitute her. I know nothing about her character so can’t be sure but multiple domestic abuse incidents, and the oldest saying he thought his mother was dead. Seems like there could have been a violent altercation and he dragged her off to work.

It was very rewarding, but so heartbreaking. Most of the kids were found in dirty diapers, abused in horrific ways. 😢 God help the children. Some people treat them as disposable now and I don't understand.
