"kein - FLASHBACK THE NEWSMAN"
This is the fourth and last song off of kein's fanclub exclusive last live VHS, はじまり(Hajimari), which contained live footage of four different songs, and it was limited to mail-order only. People who were able to get a copy when they were sent out of November of 2000, found themselves with a serial number listing which copy they received. I assume from numbers of the VHS tapes I have seen stamped, that this release was limited to around 500-1000 copies.
About kein:
kein was a legendary Japanese Nagoya-kei band. It was formed in April of 1997 by vocalist Mako, guitarists Reo and Yukino, and bassist Ritsu. About half a year later drummer Hibiki joined them and they started playing lives. After releasing the first demo tape, "Mukuge no Hitsugi", Ritsu left and Yukino replaced him temporarily until January 1999 when bassist Ruka joined kein. A year later, ex-Lamiel guitarist aie joined the band making them a five-piece group. Kein disbanded at the end of 2000. Several of the members would later form deadman, another very popular and active band in the Nagoya kei scene.
