Get an FCPC if you’re scaling up. It’s called Slickster for that reason.
It's perfectly fine the way it is and has the option of being slick when need be. I've got a jpc 2.0 for a more built out carrier.

I'm assuming the plates are RMA 1155's. Those Mira plates may be fine but they are not NIJ Certified, they are "Tested to NIJ standards" which is two very different things. Tested to NIJ standards are often times cherry picked and not an honest representation of the product. You are essentially taking the company at their word, an NIJ Certification is much harder to achieve (they've been saying they're working on it for over the past 2 years and still nothing) it also gives unbiased outside confirmation of quality and an NIJ Cert can be pulled from a company for QC issues (This happened to Hesco a while back) Not trying to be dick but these things should absolutely be discussed especially in regards to life saving equipment. RMA 1155's also got pulled from the NIJ Compliant Product list last fall (2023). They had a plate that failed a penetration test. Still not sure exactly what is going on there but it is concerning.
I heard there were bad players inside the nij testing facility that had an agenda or something like that
@@TerriblyTactical I'm sorry man but that absolutely is not excusable, the NIJ certifies thousands of ballistic rated products all of which are viewable online. They have no agenda especially when tons of small companies manage to get their products certified. You're falling for marketing simply put, bottom line is these products are deceptive and do not guarantee the protection they promise. Someone shooting a plate in their backyard for a youtube video that was sponsored by the manufacture is not unbiased and is most definitely not scientific by any means. Highcom 4SAS7's are like $500 for a set of multi curve level 4's and maybe weigh about a pound more and are truly NIJ Certified. Do the research, there's no excuse to be ignorant in the age of information. If you wanna run subpar armor go ahead but don't kid yourself and don't peddle it as the latest greatest thing.
