Tac is being overly critical of Jesse Marsch. He has said in the past he would take JM over GGG in a minute and yet based on what you heard here you would think he was a terrible coach. I also find it funny that Marsch - a Princeton grad, a US National team player, someone who has coached in MLS, the Austrian League, the German League and the English League through his entire professional life and who holds the highest US and European Coaching licenses, speaks 5 languages somehow knows less about the game than Tac. Get real. I thought he was actually much better at Leeds than some of the English fans gave him credit and the coaches that followed who were supposedly better equipped were statistically much worse. I don't want to get into it but the problems with Leeds were more due to the salary available which was at the bottom of the Premier League and the fact that they had a striker who could hit the broad side of a barn and a defense made up of the worst center backs in the league. Despite that he kept Leeds competitive, something the later coaches did not. The bottom line is I think Marsh will do very well with Canada and certainly play better than the sum of their parts. How well I don't know but much better than GGG will do with the US.
