A pleasure to retrace this speedrun from the beginning. Hau5test is the best MGX runner, because without him none of this would be possible(help, glitch research, tools).thanks to all the other runners for keeping this game alive.and for me very proud to be part of history !
I finished the two MSX Metal Gear games earlier this year with the MGS collection. I was amazed by how many gameplay ideas started with these two games and has carried over to almost every MGS game since.
You need a different mic situation. Your narration is crackling and difficult to listen to. Slow down too. More emotion and emphasis on the key points. It's very fast and monotonous now.
Gotta agree here. Not trying to be a dick, but at times it somehow sounded like your audio was playing in reverse. Like someone speaking backwards into the mic, then reversing the audio in post to sound “eerie.” It has a unique stopping and odd inhales. (David Fincher did this in Twin Peaks). I know that’s not what you actually did, but your speaking sounds very much like it. I think making some mic adjustments, pop filter, maybe a new mic, and definitely slowing down could help. It looks like there’s good info here, but an hour is way too long to sift through the broken audio, giving up after 5min. Best of luck.
What an amazing work for this speedrun!

It sounded like they had a wet mouth to me. Other than that, I liked the pacing and tone.
