I follwed your brilliant instructions and completed the job in about 20 mins .Instead of using a heat gun I placed some kitchen roll type paper on one corner and used a household Iron on medium heat directly onto the paper for about 10 seconds moving back and forth . It allowed me to use a Stanley blade to start removing the cover , Iso Alcohol and a soft bladed tool around the edges and it came off very cleanly . Instead of removing the Wireless tape I simply removed the 7 screws and gently folded it back to give me access to the Charging port unit
As daunting as this repair may seem to the newb (especially if you suffer from adhd)....this has to be the perfect instruction video. Condensed down to perfection. Doesn't leave you hanging and keeps you interested all the way through to take onboard all the info required to make the repair. Camera angles are perfect. Verbally clear and concise. Well done bro 🤜🤛
I changed the charging socket on my S22 ... Everything went smoothly, but after reassembly, the mobile phone no longer starts. When I press the power button for a few seconds, the mobile phone vibrates briefly as if it is starting up, but the screen remains black. It also vibrates briefly when I plug it in, but the screen stays off. What could be causing this? Do you think it could have got too hot at the beginning or that it could have been a short circuit (I forgot to lift the sticky wireless charging thing @1:50 and only removed the screws)?
I Have the ultra version, and having issue in cellular signal, some people advise me to replace the charging port ,do you think is it gonna work? Sorry for my bad English
my s22 out of no where stopped charging at work. I tried 3 coworkers charging items and nothing. Battery is completely dead now. I bought a wireless charger hoping that will help. If that doesn't do the trick, will this? And where do I get that heat gun from? can i use a credit card instead of a guitar pick?
Does the sub board have a heat sensor? My s22 ultra keeps getting pop up message that phone is cooling down but the phone is not hot. Did it in safe mode also. I saw yellow overheat triangle charging with cable and charge pad.
@@xxthatsnotmexx The wireless charging was working fine. Then one time, I plugged the charger back into the USB C port, hoping it would somehow work, and the phone turned off and hasn't turned on since. When I took it to a repair shop, they told me the motherboard was damaged and I needed a new one. It's unbelievable how easily it was damaged.
@@xxthatsnotmexx The USB charging port is simply replaceable. If that's not the issue, I've been given a few recommendations to check if the flex cable is working properly
I HAVE THE PROBLEM NO DATA TRANSFERT ONLY CHARGING, DO YOU THINK THE PROBLEM IS THIS PORT? THIS SUMMER THE PHONE TAKE A LITTLE BIT OF SALT WATER AT THE SEA

Great video, not the most difficult repair but this guide helps a lot
It went perfectly well! Could'nt be easier. Thank you!
Where do you get your removal kit and screwdrivers please?
How's the waterproofing with that adhesive serve you?
Beautiful work 👍
Do you have one suitable for S21 Ultra?

Try to open it again and place the flex cables again. Try turning in without closing the back

Usually sub board issue or wireless charging coil problem
@@iDoctorUK TY UK doc.
Is the phone still waterproof after doing that repair ?
So thats how my phones gonna get repaired
I replaced the USB-C port on S22 U, but charging still doesn't work. I hope I don't have to replace the motherboard. I would appreciate any advice.
Does your wireless charging work?

@alemh.1660 oh damn. My usb c port just stopped working last night but the wireless charging works so I'm hoping it's just the charge port.

I will link it in the description below... and never does. No coffee for you my son ;)
Don't Know what your talking about mate👀 The link is there right next to the buy me a coffee link😃
I wouldn't trust 2 sided tape to retain original waterproofing
Did this fix and the port works but says it's in fast charging mode for about 3 seconds then goes to slow charge.
Any ideas?
Is it Isopropol or iso-propyl ?? I'm confused 😂
Isopropyl
If you don't like it. Go and watch someone else's video. 😆 🤣. Great instructional video. Thanks.
Just have professional phone repair tools. Easy DIY!
I'm worried about the getting opening of it.
