Dear Kirsten and Joerg, I'm a teacher of English for a very special "senior" group of students (ladies 75+, 85+) from Kazakhstan (!). We are watching your channel together and we're your fans! We so much admire your work, we find the videos with cottages, greenery and sheeps alluring with natural beauty. Thank you very much! Looking forward to see more of your travelling. You're such a nice couple.
THANK GOODNESS!....Something to distract from all the politics and debate recaps in the USA. Thank you! Kirsten & Joerg for this new vlog. I am about to put up my feet, have a piece of cake and enjoy!
I also live in the U.S. and agree with you THANK GOODNESS for Kirsten and Joerg. I look forward to their weekly TH-cam videos. They have been a much needed respite.
Absolutely! Im sure they have their own share of “issues”, as we do here. However, we don’t have to hear about it… just peace and tranquility and beauty.
Today (Wednesday) is my 70th birthday. I had a wonderful day out here in Richmond, Virginia, with my dear husband complete with birthday cake and ice cream-at our age a rare treat. And on top of today’s many blessings is this beautiful video on my favorite TH-cam channel. You two make the world a kinder, gentler place. Thank you for sharing your world! ❤️
I am late (here its already thursday) but I wish you the happiest birthday ❤ i am happy that you had a lovely day and also your loving husband on you side ☺️ Its great to see how these videos appeal to every age, I am 30 now 😊
Oh it is? A very happy birthday to you - what an honour that you're watching and commenting on your special day. Thank you so much and all the very best to you.x
Happy Birthday! I will also be celebrating my 70th birthday in two weeks time. I visited the Yorkshire Dales back in the 80s. Beautiful and so peaceful. Wish I could be there now!
Lovely video, thank you so much you darlings. Please may I say this to you. I'm 83 and my husband and me have visited 'many' of the places that you show. When retired we walked miles looking and staying at these lovely places (we live in leafy Warwickshire). I want to say it's a privilege and pleasure to watch such a nice couple enjoying the gentle English and other British countryside and appreciating it. You are people of integrity and charm and the trouble you go to make first class videos is much appreciated. My own sadness is that we cannot go anywhere now because my husband's mobility is poor - so I now do most of my "travelling" through your wonderful films. Thank you. I'm still quite active myself and still drive (for 48 years now). I take my husband to surgery twice a week - but he uses a walking-aid now (slowly). I did some country-walking on my own for a while, but have to keep an eye on my husband more now. He is tall like Joerg but now his once strong legs are weak with age. God bless you, make the very most of your 'youth' and enjoy many more lovely times together. "tempus fugit" - as they say!
You are so kind, thank you so much Penny! I'm really sorry to hear that you husband's mobility is poor. Please know that we are thinking of you and are so grateful that you took the time to send us such a lovely comment.x
Everythingʻ is so pristine which makes these videos even more beautiful Kirsten and Joerg you are the BEST. You give us so much joy in every video you do.😅
'All Creatures Great and Small' written by James Alfred Wight (James Herriot) has been beloved by me since his first book came out in 70's. My uncle was also a veterinary surgeon and he reminded me so much of James Herriot as he also told the funniest stories and loved his animals. I miss those stories so much. I was teary through out your travels of Herriot Country as you and Joerg were masterful in the filming and content and the deep respect and love you have for this subject shined throughout it. Yes, loved the books so much and the old series that started my love for the Dales. Really enjoy the remake so much too. Thank you so much, so happy you like the video.
@@JeanineMarieCompassion I was there about ten years ago. I spent a few hours at the museum, which was the real surgery. Just up the street is the church where James and Helen were married. I loved all the books, and have the one shown in this video... James Herriot's Yorkshire. The actual town is Thirsk, north of York.
Ah, my favourite, the Yorkshire Dales, it's been a while since you've visited! I'm an American, privileged and fortunate to be living in West Yorkshire. I go walking in the Dales as often as I can and 'Herriot country' is my favourite area of the Dales! ❤
I am visiting the UK from California. We were in Grassington over this past weekend. They film All Creatures there as well.. The Dales are incredibly beautiful. I love Yorkshire.
Absolutely! It’s why we visited Grassington again. We shared some All Creatures Great and Small filming locations in our video from 3 years ago which we linked in this video. Oh completely forgot to say: Have the best time in the UK!🙏

It's seven thirty in the evening - just 32 minutes since you posted. It's been quite a day here, but watching this lovely video and seeing the beautiful countryside and villages you both visited is just the perfect end to my day. It's always a joy to watch your journeys around the UK. I know each video must take a lot of work: especially as each one is a work of art. So, while I drink my tea and put my feet up a while, I must thank you most sincerely Kirsten and Joerg for sharing your time again with me and all your many followers on TH-cam. This was just spectacular! The beautiful scenery with the perfect music. In a world that can be stressful, you two are a soft place to land. The sheep staring at you in the end, adorable! ❤🐑❤
You know what, (my husband and I are in agreement about this) you two, and these wonderful excursions you take us along to experience are an enormous blessing. Thank You! So-so much. We are still at a age that we need to work, and both from conservative backgrounds, believing the world we live in, is the safest, protected place on this globe. We see England through your eyes, and we love every second. The chances that we would visit a place like Yorkshire is zero, so we truly and sincerely appreciate the wonderful opportunity and time you take to share this with us. With love, from 2 South-Africans.
"All creatures great and small" are the very first books I read in english (I'm french Canadian) and I already knew the tv series, those are the reason why I love the English countryside and small villages so much. And now I love watching you two going where I wish I could go, thank you so much for sharing these beautiful places and the good time you are spending there. While you were at the Cobblestones Cafe I visited the next door Bluebell gift shop on internet😉

ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL is definitely one of my favorites, not only for the storylines but also for the amazing scenery of the incomparable Yorkshire Dales and, of course, the animals. Thank you Kirsten and Joerg for capturing this magical place so beautifully! Kirsten I feel the sheep KNEW you were waiting to say hello on the other side of the bridge - just incredible! Kirsten, the love you have for the Yorkshire Dales shines through the screen. As a Yorkshire lass myself I'm happy to make you an honorary lass. 🥰 😁 Beautifully shot as always. p.s. you looked gorgeous in your red dress.
Love this one especially, because my daughter is away almost done with her veterinary degree. I had always told her to watch All Creatures for decades and now she has finally watched the old and new series and loves it! I finally recruited her, now we two share our love for the filming. Thanks for this. You took great pictures. So glad the sheep 🐑 entered on que 😂
Dear Kirsten and Joerg. You have made my day! This is the best video ever. Maybe I’m biased being a Yorkshire lass with the Dales on my doorstep but I can understand how emotional you feel when in the stunning Yorkshire Dales. There is nothing quite like it. Thank you for this wonderful video and for sharing. Kirsten your dress is gorgeous, you look lovely in it. I think living in the Dales would suit you both. Maybe you could retire there to a lovely village? The village would benefit from having a lovely German couple in their community. ❤❤

The countryside, the views, oh, my. It’s heaven on earth. The buildings complement the natural beauty so well. It does seem like time has passed this area by. Lucky the people who call it home.
What a wonderful video Kirsten! The Dales, the sheep, the sweet villages are all so quinntessentially British...and I would love a walk over the stone bridges and down the footpaths along the stone walls too! Great drone shots Joerg, just great. Once again thank you both for even considering to share this part of your time together, you are very kind to do that for those of us who can only dream of such a trip. God bless.

Just amazingly coincidental! Last night on PBS they ran a special of the All Creatures reboot. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I had always told her to watch All Creatures for decades and now she has finally watched the old and new series and loves it! I finally recruited her, now we two share our love for the filming. Thanks for this. You took great pictures. So glad the sheep 🐑 entered on que 😂
Oh my, that's amazing!
Oh so kind, thank you so much!
thank you sooo much for sharing...this is breathtaking...my soul really longs for English Countryside..and Yorkshire Dales...I do have fond memories there..ONE DAY I WILL RETURN... thank you Kirsten and Joerg for a wonderful dreamy short holiday with you :)

Whilst I love the original series best (HUGE Robert Hardy fan), the reboot is charming. I will never get to see England so I do so enjoy your channel. Thank you both for sharing your journeys!
Thank you so much! Oh the reboot is so wonderful - the next season starts next week, yay!
@@KirstenJoerg Thank you for giving me the “heads up” on the new upcoming season/series! My wife and I watch your videos all the time. Armchair tourists we be! XO

All Creatures Great and Small is one of my favorites as well! Thank you for taking us to the very location of the story and reminding us of those wonderful stories.
The inn is amazing and it was so kind of them to let you film there; I hope they know your viewers appreciate it and it is great public relations for them :)
The countryside with the farmland IS breathtaking as you said and the sheep putting on a parade for you was the icing on the cake!
