As an American, I have a lot of love for the UK! I didn't see anything particular horrible about these towns. Every country has poor areas. Would love to see more reactions to the UK!
@@starchunkss you are so right. America's a large country good evening in this country we got a lot of places in poverty. And some places they are right next door to each other one side is rich and the other is poor. So don't be deceived.
I think this is great. Mix it up. As an American, and I am interested in learning more about the UK. I visited England on business twice and both visits were very nice.
Hey man... I lived in Suffolk for three and a half years and have been to the UK more times than I can remember... Show your stuff and the viewers in the US will trip out... Just a thought for your business model.
US here and I can say yes on vlogs about UK life. I subscribe to 4-5 UK vloggers. Canadians aren't English enough and I think we have more Irish and Scots blood here in the US, LoL!! One thing I don't see is real life vlogging on the UK, just walking around making your own content (Laurence Brown of 'Across The Pond' does this but he is here in the US). So to show an Americans love of over seas I want to give a shout out to: * *André of 'European Reacts' (he is actually Portuguese), *Kabir of 'Kabir Considers' (UK), *A young UK couple 'The Beesleys', *Arab Muslim Brothers Reactions of 'HABIBI BROTHERS', *Mr. and Mrs. H of 'Mr H and Friends' (UK), *South African & Wife in Slovakia of 'Graham Family Reacts', *AND our resident UK-US celebrity Laurence Brown of 'Across The Pond'.
Hi Thurs, Yesterday you did a video regarding Americans thinking that are superior to others. Next, you did a video suggesting the economy in the UK is in poor condition. I don't want to discuss economy except for the fact that all countries have economic issues. We are all the same as humans but where we live does make us different. In my city we have a major interstate that runs through the middle of the city. To the east are the more wealthy and to the west of that interstate is that areas of poverty, crime, food deserts, and poor housing. It hurts my heart for that part of the city. The major issue in my city is crime. As the economy worsens the high crime that used to be to the west is now moving to the east. The UK is not the only country facing third world issues. There is so much poverty in the US and it is all over. I am terrified of the outcome of the upcoming election.
I find your reactions to things about the UK very interesting. I wish you would do a lot more reactions like these. It gives us (I'm American) an "insiders" view into your own country.
Definitely want to learn about the UK and attempt to understand comparisons between the UK and US. Keep it up with this kind of content! So much more interesting than more Brits eating fast food.
Thankyou lav. Unfortunate for these people we are hoping life works out for them sad really. Please understand we are as curious about the UK as you are about the us, so please show us more of your lovely country. Thankyou.
I've been to Scotland. I agree. It is depressing when it's rainy, damp and overcast with dark clouds. But I must admit, Edinburgh is beautiful on a sunny Summer day.
I would never hold an area as depressing because of the local weather, but then whom am I to judge I live in Cleveland Ohio, people love to say North East Ohio , has 6 months of winter which is totally not true , 😅 it gets so hot and humid ,as of the 28 of September, I will be kicking on the a/c ,😊
I hope you understand that given the incredible size of the US, many of us actually learn about our own country through your reactions. That means we have an intrinsic interest on these types of videos in learning about other places. I personally am interested in learning about the UK too. I appreciate the UK reactors doing US reactions, but have been surprised how little they react to the UK. It’s virtually not a thing (at least among my fav reactors). If you sprinkle these in, I’m actually very interested. I bet I’m not the only one. Just fyi.
To be fair, I saw so much potential in some of these places. They need more investors to come in with a plan and restore them. America has been fairly successful at saving and transforming cities and towns. Even Detroit is getting a new lease on life. I looked up your city of Norwich and found it to be quite charming.
Yes please more UK reactions. American media rarely covers international news so us Americans are always at a disadvantage at getting information about the world. Meanwhile, everything from American movies to tv shows, and news media is plastered all over the world so you Brits in the UK get far more information about us than we get about you.
There are definitely run down and depressing places in the US. It's when we compare the average and median in the US to the UK do we see big differences. One of those differences being is much of the most well known companies doing business internationally are based in the US and not all of them are even based out of the same state. Compared to the UK which has huddled most of its wealth in London.
Dude, I'd like to see you vlog your city. Let Americans live Norwich, UK through your vlogs. If you're going to do this, just please do be careful doing so with copyright, recording people's faces, etc. There are Americans, Canadians, Australia, and New Zealanders who are interested in seeing new English places. (Beyond the biggest cities of London, Bristol, and Manchester)
Just getting into this, but so far "poverty" in the UK looks to be oozing charm. The worst thing I've seen so far looked somewhat like row houses in Baltimore of Philadelphia except there it would be deserted and boarded up. Now I'm done. Sorry not to get a glimpse of Grimsby, Laurence Brown's famous former home.
Looks like it. I'd have panic attacks living on top of thousands of people. I Champlain about driving across Kansas. Seems like 400 miles of endless skies😮 but I guess that's better than being on top of my nieghbor.
You have excellent taste. Their is a special about Midsummer murders on the Roku channel, it mentions the village depicted on the show. From a fellow American. Peace!
In the video, I didn’t see homeless or graffiti or trash on the streets and drug areas like in America. Most of the places had old buildings and cleaner streets
Thanks. This isn't putting Best foot forward...but it's a start. I actually have been to your country several times to tour...far too many airports besides. They Fucking Suck . Gonna plan a Norwich vacation sometime soon...your intriguing defense of Matters. Be kind to where you grew up. I'm from Detroit, rarely spoken of kindly. I KNOW different tho. 😎

Bro... We watch for things about the UK too... Learn and teach us about your area, not just the US

I’m surprised that number 1 and some of the others I think were coastal towns. You would think that was expensive real estate. Interesting.

Very interesting. All countries, states, cities, and towns have good and bad places.
Did anyone else hear the announcer say, "Do the MATH" instead of "Do the maths"?
Thankyou lav. Unfortunate for these people we are hoping life works out for them sad really. Please understand we are as curious about the UK as you are about the us, so please show us more of your lovely country. Thankyou.

I like when you do UK so we can learn more
as different as we are...we're still the same.

Just a suggestion to kinda stand out a bit more from other English reactors
Agreed. I want to see this too.

As someone who lives near South Elmsall, ....their are much worse places in west and south yorkshire 😂
I want to learn more about the UK…I’ve always been an Anglophile and I definitely want to learn as much as I can …
Every country has a bad places. It's a shame the mayors or council let's this get that far.
I can't say much. The US has its own problems.
To be honest, it looks like everyone is living in the projects in all places I've seen of England.
Looks like it. I'd have panic attacks living on top of thousands of people. I Champlain about driving across Kansas. Seems like 400 miles of endless skies😮 but I guess that's better than being on top of my nieghbor.
I'm a midwestern USA fan of the very British series Midsomer Murders. Do such places actually exist in the UK?
You have excellent taste. Their is a special about Midsummer murders on the Roku channel, it mentions the village depicted on the show. From a fellow American. Peace!
2nd post ... inside vs outside perceptions
There's plenty of poverty to go around, especially in non-UK or USA parts of the world.
That guy's video was based on statistics, not actually showing the poorest areas.
This is an AI generated video. That’s why it’s only showing random photos.
In the video, I didn’t see homeless or graffiti or trash on the streets and drug areas like in America. Most of the places had old buildings and cleaner streets
he is showing the nice things...
This was very misleading. They only read off statistics. They must have shown the best areas of the town..
Look for War West Virgina what the hell happened?
I am a American and it really I really don't see it. If you would have come to America you will really see poverty.
Well you wouldnt, they litterally show the best parts of some of these places .....but trust me, some of them are shit tips, especially south elmsall
The self-blackpilling of Thurston continues 😅
