Make sure sensor ground is going to one of the ecu sensor ground pins and not just a normal ground spot. I feel like this is an issue with ground vs signal ground. If it just says ground, then that's a typical ground spot on your frame etc. if it says signal ground that's going to the ecu and grounding there to a sensor ground. I may be way off, but that's the only thing I've noticed.
