I love dark chocolate it's so bitter but it's so good. At Trader Joe's (I don't know if it's international) they sell 98% dark chocolate little pebble like things. They were so good I ate them all in 2 days

Well some of it is definitly not German and we have it here in the Netherlands, so that might be true. There are so many different kinds of candy though. I haven't tried half of what's in shops here, so even though that stuff might be from my country, I don't know how it tastes XD

Yes, it had turned up in my childhood days. French counts in Germany as an elegant/diplomatic language. So that is the reason for the French word for thanks. MILKA is by definition not a German brand since ownership went through different hands in Europe. Nowdays it is Belgium company owning it. But yes, you find MILKA products in every German store.

My family is SUPER German, and I get a lot of German candy instead of regular candy from the us (I live in the U.S) For my birthday and Easter and other holidays. Its way more yummy, but that's me. In Germany the prices for their candy is like 78 cents per bar, which is good. Compared to here it's like 2 to sometimes 5-6 bucks per bar. And the German in me likes black licorice. Even though no one likes in my family except for my Omi and Opa ( Grandma and Grandpa in german )
