I believe that now is the time to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. For those who groan under the Francis papacy remember this: Pope Francis will pass. May the LORD strengthen us all. May we love one another despite our disagreements.

Indeed. The idea that the one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church cannot survive one bad Pope is a fallacy, since it has already survived several (Honorius, Benedict IX, Alexander VI), many of them far worse than Francis.

I attend the SSPV, and honestly, I am an "agnostic" (colloquially speaking) on the topic. I would like to think that ABSOLUTELY Francis and the Bishops are 1,000% legit. However, we then see what they have done and what they have permitted, and I just shake my head and wonder if they even have the Faith.
It is not that I disagree with any of Mr Salza's arguments, because I don't. I admit, however, that I do not have the answers, theological training, nor authority to absolutely say one way or another. It is just that I cannot in good conscience attend my local NO, and Fr J does not impose a privately held opinion as "dogma," precisely because the society does NOT have the authority to bind me.
All I know is that we live in a messed up situation. Personally, I am convinced it is so bad that I "think" it will take Divine Intervention to fix. I just hope ALL SIDES recognize it when it happens.
    Peace. 😁

Start attending the SSPX or FSSP man, it's better to be safe than sorry. If you can't, move where there is an SSPX chapel. If you are agnostic on this issue, it's worth playing a "Paschal's Wager" here. If it's 50/50 the consequences for being a sedevacantist and being wrong are infinitely worse than if you were a Catholic in communion with Rome and were wrong. God won't punish you for not figuring out this complex topic, but he will punish you for not recognizing the true Church led by his Vicar.

@@murrax7639 You may resist the supreme pontiff if he threatens the faith. The Catholic church is the true church and we have yet another Pope of questionable integrity which is obvious. It's not like this hasn't happened before. We have history to know that whether Francis is a real Pope or not, he is breaking with the traditional faith with gross ecumenism, which is Freemasonry (equality of religion) and blasphemy.
It should be obvious that Christ called out the Pharisees and the temple soon fell. Were the children of Israel spared for sticking to the Sanhedron?

@@bankerborsch This is not a question of resisting the supreme pontiff. Do you really think I would suggest going to the SSPX if I was a papaloter worshipping at the Pope's feet? The SSPX created the recognize and resist position. But in order for the position to work, you still need to *recognize* the Pope and then resist him. This is a question of there being too big of a risk to make a modernist judgement that the pope isn't actually the pope when you could just be prudent, go to the SSPX and resist the pontiff when he is in error.

so i'm no expert, but I'm 28 min in and so far the two arguments about visibility of the church and infallibility have not been the least bit fairly presented. But more importantly, the starting point should be this question: was there a substantial change to the teachings and liturgy after Vatican II? This is what the whole thing hinges on. If you can show the answer to that question is no, then I believe every Sed will immediately accept that the Chair is not empty
. So let's see if you get to that question

Is it possible that Pope Francis,in forsaking the title ‘Vicar of Christ’ may be only the Bishop of Rome and Pope Benedict the true Vicar of Christ and holds the keys of ‘Peter’? I realise this has never happened in Church History but Benedict still dresses and gives blessings and appears as though spiritually he remains the Holy Father . Ok to everything. But one question: who gave the pope and bishops the mission of doing what in fact they are doing. That comes from JC himself or Holy Spirit??? Just common sense. And you know what i'm refering. That pachamama thing and thousand of examples. Now they have got the MISSION, da command to do whatever?

@Der Frosch-Prinz Aus Bayern I mean that's fine, but they provided a rebuttal to the book and the arguments. They even presented an argument against their theivery and scamming, which is absent from the newest attacks on the Dimond brothers by Salza and his coauthor. So it's strange that you would use those words when Salza seems to have retracted them? On what basis do you call them thieves and scammers?
Furthermore, what does that have to do with their criticisms? Criticism is true or false regardless of the source. It can either be dealt with or ignored. But attacking the person is weak.

ok so at 1 hr 4min 28 sec he gives about 20 seconds to the central question of the entire discussion - did vatican II make a substantial change to the teachings and liturgy. he mentions that vatican II did not provide specific definitions for ecumanism, religious liberty, collegiality etc. and that means the pope did not intend to define anything, and so therefore, what, vatican II doesn't matter then? I hope you'll bring in a Sed priest or bishop and have a real discussion about this. In the meantime i ask, what if there was a substantial change? How do you reconcile it/
