    Thank you for this video. I didn't know how to adjust this switch after having the brake booster and master cylinder off after re-sealing my car.

    I checked everything. I changed and this but I haven't got brake lights.any advise?thank u in advance.

    Thanks.I finagelled the connector off, snapped a coupla fit plastic flanges off 'this'll side, levered the red thing down with the motor running so the pedal would go down more, tried twisting it (as in some vids) tried pulling with a large two 90° pick, grabbing with adjustable wrench ready to smash it just to get it off. No go. I broke my back prank g back over the cill. And according to this vido, even if I do crush it off, there is worse to come.

    How do you remove the white locking collar which the switch sit behind thanks

      If removing then just destroy it, care needed only on refit

      Brake light was stuck on all the time

    Ffs, what is it with these cars??? Simple jobs just require you to do crazy stuff to get to the main job. I've just done my flasher relay and they can't put it in the fuse box like every other manufacturer. You've got to remove the battery (a task in itself) just to get to the BCM and open that up.
    Re-seal the brake booster against the bulkhead? Yep, all the trim and windscreen wipers needs to come out.
    Change the air filter? The whole airbox has to come out and unbolt from the MAF sensor body. Crazy s××t.
