No bass and too much highs right? Let´s say it, this headphones are really bad, even for it´s price.
I think you guys have to burn-in the earphones. Most people suggest 100 hours of burn-in for the earphones to perform at its best. This is because the materials used to produce the sounds are still very tough and not in their prime condition. When I first listened to my Soundmagic E10C, I was disappointed beyond expectation and thought that my far cheaper Kz Ate sounded clearer. But after 32 hours of burn-in, the trebles smoothened and the bass was enhanced while the mids became a little bit more recessed and possessed warmth and body with little to zero sibilance. Completely the opposite of when I listened to the E10C out of the box. Download the 1more assistant app on Play Store and burn-in your earphones. It really does wonders.

MDR XB50AP aren't good at all... Only if you want bass. But clarity wise, the XIaomi's are MILES ahead! No seriously, Chinese IEMs are better than popular brand ones. Heck, the ROCK Zircons are the best for bass and clarity.

Been using these for almost 1.5 months now (got from China) with Redmi Note 4, and they do sound great. Even better with the correct Mi Sound Enhancer preset (the stable ROM DOES NOT have the preset yet, both china and global developer ROM has it).
I got it for Rs 1400, quite a sweet deal.
I bought these headphones from mi.com, they make CRACKING noise when connected to Redmi note 3.

i have this beauty for a while, it’s sound amazing and so comfortable not too flat and not too sharp as samsung crapy headphones , one issue i have about these headphones , they are heavy and they will fall if your ears get sweating 😓

square781989 I am not sure of mi, but gotta tell you mi is Chinese.
Sennheiser is German, they have very good audio engineers + they also manufacture headphones and earphones not only for consumers but also for artists too, they know what they are offering is highly engineered product, which cannot be said of mi.
secondly Sennheiser has awesome(google it) service + it's for 2 years for which mi cannot beat for next 20 years.
thirdly these earphones are amazing, they are good in sound isolation(even in volume at 50%), they are for all round experience, if you are bass head go for sonyxb50, but not mi in that case too. These both companies are way ahead of mi in audio quality.
if you are in doubt now too, check there number of reviews and ratings on amazon. you'll get your answer.

Hate to admit it, XIaomi In Ear Pro beats my $200+ JBL HEADPHONE, UA JAB, when playing on Mi5, hands down. This small earphone proved to be clearer, more bass, clarity than my Urbanista, which is expensive. Not to mention outclassed Bose, Audio Technica, etc by a far cry. And the old Mi5 sounded more superior than my new Huawei P20 (which in turn sounds more superior than Samsung S10, made the AKG sounded like cheap tin cans). My next phone will be a Xiaomi for sure. Good sound, quality and money. Budget earphone? Don't be joking here!
