Bill Burr once told a story how he and Patrice were doing a benefit for the ASPCA. When Patrice got on stage, the whole audience was talking to each other and not paying attention to him. He immediately went into a bit about how he cooked and ate puppies for breakfast and gave them the recipe. It quickly got their attention.
The show was “tough crowd“ with Colin Quinn. On Comedy Central in the early 2000s. In the video you reacted to with Kevin Hart talking about sitting in the comedy club, making jokes about each other. He was referencing the comics table at the comedy cellar in New York. The idea behind tough crowd was to take that comics table and put it on television.
Patrice was a comedians comedian, like Bob Sagat and Dave Attell. He was finally hitting his stride and gaining the mainstream appeal when he passed. Most of my personal favorite stand ups were good, close friends of his
The one with the sign language and stenographer was a benefit show. There was a deaf person in the crowd. Most of his set seems completely improvised, just ripping into people in the crowd. It’s hilarious.
You should check "Patrice O'Neal on Charlie Sheen roast" too! that was the roast Kevin and Joe was talking about in the clip you watched. It was filmed couple of months before Patrice passed.
The show was Tough Crowd. It was on Comedy Central in the late 90s early 00s. Just a lot of old school comedians discussing whatever topics the host, Colin Quinn wanted. It usually devolved into them ripping each other apart. I think the shows may be on TH-cam.
Hi BrittReacts!, I just want to tell you that your work ethic is insane! Going from 0 to almost 85,000 subscribers in less than 4 months is truly remarkable! I am so happy on your behalf!🙌😊
Ralphie May: These are glorious times. I just wanna see your face when you watch that bit... Would be one of the funniest reactions on this channel so far. Trust me.
The show is tough crowd with Colin Quinn....they have full episodes on TH-cam ...it was a great show were comedians told the truth about the current events (2002-2004)...such a hilarious show
That is the glorious Tough Crowd with one of the funniest people on the planet Colin Quinn hosting. Comedians talking about all kinds of topics and roasting each other, highly recommended.
This was Tough Crowd hosted by Colin Quinn on Comedy Central. Most of the comedians were friends off the show and appeared on the Opie and Anthony radio show also. The premise of the show was Colin would bring up a topic and the comedians would discuss it.
Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn was a genius, beautiful, and amazing time in the early 2000s... whatever clips are available on TH-cam is all that's available unfortunately, comedy central hasn't released any of the seasons for purchase or streaming
The Jersey he's wearing is a Brooklyn dodgers jersey before they moved to LA. The hat he's wearing is the Indianapolis colts I believe, who were formerly the Baltimore colts for what it's worth...
Just found your Channel, love your commentary. Especially your inductees into the panty dropper Club. I don't know if anyone has suggested Collective Soul. But maybe try there the song Shine, Heavy or December. Give you a taste of that 90s grunge
been checking out some of your reactions would love to watch you react to valhalla calling trio version. i think its so amazing, gets me pumped. keep being you :)
Jim Carrey and Bill Burr ranked Patrice as the funniest comedian If I remember Patrice ranked Richard Pryor the best comedian and I think he said George Carlin was his #2
One of my biggest regrets was changing my front row center seat to a Red Foxx show in Las Vegas to a lesser seat to party with some friends of mine. He nailed the people that were sitting on my table. I was glad then when I was 21 years old, but I regretted for many many years since. I wish he would’ve nailed me made fun of me. I was young and handsome and I had a beautiful girlfriend and he hammered the people that were in my seat. Lol no, you want them to pick on you Mike Epps picked on me at a show called me fat. Everybody laughed at me. I should’ve flipped him off, but I laughed too because it was funny, because I am fat.
The show was Tough Crowd and Patrice, Greg Giraldo, Jim Norton, Bill Burr etc were on it a lot. It was a great show but Comedy Central didn't promote it properly and , truthfully, the host Colin Quinn wasn't a good host. He was too mumbled when speaking and his nervous energy gave you an uneasy feeling watching it. You should listen to Opie and Anthony when Patrice was on that. He brought so much comedy AND insight to that show. He should have been way more popular than he was. He's my favorite Comic. He said good comedy should make 50 percent of people laugh and make the other 50 percent horrified and he's right lol
You should do yourself a service and be the first reactor on youtube to do a reaction video to The Christians. Nothing to do with religion, but the brothers surname! "Forgotten town" or "Hooverville" Is a good place to start.
I'm English and a fanatical Football(soccer) fan like most of Europe, South America, and Africa but are you telling me that a team left Brooklyn and moved to LA ?? If an English team moved 1/2 a mile(like mine) there would be protests or even riots....

Tough Crowd was so great, when Patrice and Pat Cooper were on together, just so funny.
Don’t forget about Nick dipaolo and Colin Quinn
@@chetstevens2004And Jim Norton. But WHEN Patrice would come on the Opie and Anthony Show with Jim Norton those shows were hysterical!
Colts hat

Patrice went with color coordination. He discussed it on O&A
1:10 thats ralphie may. Hilarious comedian. He wasn't "triggered" he was coming back at patrice lmao
I forgot Patrice O'Neal was like 6'5 till he picked Kevin Hart up like a child 😂
Patrice and Nick DePalo going at each other was the greatest thing on cable
Patrice was a comedians comedian, like Bob Sagat and Dave Attell. He was finally hitting his stride and gaining the mainstream appeal when he passed. Most of my personal favorite stand ups were good, close friends of his
He was also great at sabotaging himself and his career...
Which is a shame. He is one of the greats.
The shirt he's wearing is a Brooklyn Dodgers Baseball jersey... (The LA Dodgers Baseball team used to play in Brooklyn)
The LA Dodgers used to play in Brooklyn
that end were he did standup up for company with sign language is some funny ish. Him and Bill Burr both worked it masterfully
You gotta react to some Ralphie May! funny as hell and also gone too soon.

That is the glorious Tough Crowd with one of the funniest people on the planet Colin Quinn hosting. Comedians talking about all kinds of topics and roasting each other, highly recommended.
Patrice was absolutely untouchable when he was going in on someone. Trying to heckle him was like trying to diss Eminem... You just don't do it
Lot of comedians passed Mitch Hedburg Greg Giraldo and Patrice
The show where they seating around face to face was probably "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn".
Was and will always be the GOAT wanna recommend O&A clips but there's so many to choose from
Ralphie May and Patrice O’Neal… rest in peace to both of those gentlemen
It was Tough Crowd on Comedy Central hosted by Colin Quinn from 2001-2004
Both Patrice O'Neal and Ralphie May died from diabetes complications.
This was Tough Crowd hosted by Colin Quinn on Comedy Central. Most of the comedians were friends off the show and appeared on the Opie and Anthony radio show also. The premise of the show was Colin would bring up a topic and the comedians would discuss it.

Patrice would tear into Bill Burr and other comedians off stage when they’d arrive in the comedy club
That's the old Brooklyn Dodgers before moving to Los Angeles and it's a Colts hat

Both he and Ralphie May died early due to complications with diabetes.
He had type 2 diabetes since his 20s. Sadly his death was very tragic

Ralphie makes fun of his own fatness, he was playing. That show is Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn!!
Brooklyn dodgers. Indianapolis colts. If it's a horseshoe on the hat.
Brooklyn dodgers
No, that's you. With that look on her face.
Brooklyn Dodgers? before the moved to LA? I guess
