I apologize for being blunt. I've only been diagnosed about a month. It's not like you don't know theres a severe problem. just now it's confirmed. It's certainly not my intention to bum you out, sorry.

I did this and I have a vague memory of my booth being like a Glass Egg (shape) but the same functions done. And I also remember them depressurizing it. I was being tested for Pulmonary Fibrosis so I wouldn't have to do a CT scan (which I ended up doing 2 high resolutions years later confirming I had scars on my lungs) this was 20 plus years ago. And They made me do it like 5 times. And they kept yelling "blow blow blow". Now this might be because computers and software wasn't as sensitive back then. its probably simpler today than back then. my lungs got a good workout and kind of hurt the following days but I was put on steroids and given asthma pills. this made it worse with high blood pressure and I went back on basic Albuterol after that. don't worry about this test. its basically to see what meds or treatment you might need. be happy you have access to this kind of treatment. People in some countries don't have access to this. this is why I Support Doctors without Borders. . and that's; not a plug on my part but it would be justified if it were.

That looks scary. I am autistic and I am going to a lung specialist soon. I have asthma that I can't get under control. My doctor requested a lung specialist today. I don't like having my nose plugged nor panting. It's going to be hard for me. I already feel like I am breathing through a windy tunnel. The only thing that helps is my inhaler and hot steamy drinks. I cough up phlegm and dirt a lot in the morning too. I even get nauseated because of the choking and pain in my throat. Sometimes it happens at night too. I always have attacks when it's humid and hot outside. Summer and Spring are the worst seasons for my health. Asthma is a horrible anxious inducing experience. It can be deadly if not treated properly. I even have seizures that are caused by lack of oxygen.
