I actually sold a played condition Dexter Charming doll a few months ago and got around 40-50 for it. I’m not an EAH fan, but it seems the boy dolls in this franchise are a lot more sought after than other brands

Love your content! I‘d guess that fewer Alistair dolls have been produced and therefore he‘s rare - and he wasn’t a main character (as Dexter). Male Dolls tend to be more costly due to the girls getting more love back in the day in general.
Ah okay! I knew in general male dolls were produced less, but I didn't know Dexter was more of a main character. Makes sense :)
Alister was only missing his bag, he only had 2 dolls and 1 of them was included in a two pack with him and Bunny Block so his original dolls is quite rare

I paid 86 for my Duchess Swan doll a few months ago. I should have been patient and gotten one for 30. Wow! This video also makes me realize I spent way to much on all my EAH dolls I got this year. I spent around 60-100 for each.
That feeling is my least favorite part of buying secondhand lol, I usually research and try to get the best deal possible at the time...but then in 3 months suddenly that doll isn't as "valuable" and is way cheaper 🫠 At least know you're not alone!
@@FaeryTaleDolls Thanks for the reassurance. Yeah, I always get the cheapest option that is complete or mostly complete. Duchess was my grail EAH doll, so I didn't want to miss out on her.

I didn't know these existed before 2020 because in my country we didn't really have MH, EAH and Bratz dolls except in this one mall that's 3 hours away from my house lol. I have a few MH dolls and I recently started my EAH journey with the first Darling Charming doll (she's my favorite character). Have you seen any of their animated stuff? I'll admit, it took some time for me to get used to their faces, but now I like a lot of them and I've watched the movies multiple times each (still haven't read the books). They're actually really good so if you're interested, I'd love to see your opinion on the movies. The minisodes are good too, but the movies are obviously better plot wise. And I also love their animation style and the soundtrack :)

Ok if he was FAIR this time and didn't intentionally choose the most outlandish listings I should be good at this game. I've been buying a whole collections worth of eah dolls from scratch this year because the ebay prices have been so gracious, unlike with mh dolls I'm actually having tremendous luck getting complete dolls all parts included. Also it was bratz, the thing you're forgetting, it was bratz and their broken prices. Thank god for all these reproductions
Ok, this has a mostly complete cerise and maddie who are super easy to find, but then a thronecoming briar and a cupid (no wings) and ginger with lots of stuff missing or wearing the totally wrong outfits so it this is a sane person the price should balance out. Ive seen alot of lots at 60 ish but im going to call it 80 just to be safe. ok 20 points this seller isn't entirely reasonable
Omg Alistair is SO expensive and super rare (yeah you customized that, I didn't want to say anything at the time but this is going to sink in some reality) so imma say 100. Its stupid cuz he doesn't have everything but he's rarely ever under 50. YUP I was right thats 2 points for me and LET THAT SINK IN. I wont finger waggle I just want you to think about that

Ah a tricky one some sellers are gracious and sell at 20 but with like 10 shipping but on average she's 40 ish. However I don't see a purse pictured here....hmm..she has all jewelry tho so imma stick with 40. Yeah see I went on the high end just cuz of how many do that so this is a gracious seller 12 more pts for me
Ok I don't know so right or wrong this one does NOT count towards my score. Ive seen frankie as threaderella for 30-35 bucks so, 40 thats my guess. I can get threaderella RIGHT now for 35 bucks and draculaura is 75? Doesnt count
Ok he is rare to find complete like this and I rarely see listings of him at all so im flying blind and guessing 50. Ok yeah so he IS about at the average price for signature characters that were rarer. See character like dexter, darling, and lizzie were less manufactured releases but really popular characters so 50 is about their average, alistair was a straight up rare doll they did not manufacture nearly as many idk if he take the cake for rarest signature or not but he's rarer than most. 10 points for me
Ok this ones gotta be expensive, is that a complete spring unsprung kitty cheshire? YES, OMG AND a complete hattastic briar and birthday ball cedar. Ooof depending on the seller those are all basically 40 a piece standalone, kitty can go as high as 60 and those complete signature dolls.....if this seller knows what they're selling and the prices have a logic ill guess 200 again. WHAT, where is this listing???? this is so much less than these dolls are worth all the hattastic briars ive found are 40 by THEMSELVES, those maddie and ravens? 30 a pop. Holy shit either this seller has no idea what these dolls are going for complete or is a saint 130 pts for me. I did the math from how expensive all these dolls are complete by themselves and I stand by 200 being justified
Ok I honestly don't know this one, I saw someone sell an out of box one for 60 so like 110 is my guess but it could be even higher honestly. A nude briar would basically only be 10 but the others makes this tricky. Since there are alot of hands missing ill say 60 and hope the seller isnt insane again. Honestly thats gracious 10 points for me
Ok none complete but the thronecoming book ought to be 20 by itself with those little pieces, blondie missing some pieces wud be 20ish....ill say 60 just cuz alot of these lots havent been exactly the cost of the dolls put together but I also want to cover my ass for discrepancies. Its another crazy cheap seller again, these are not the normal prices I just want to make that perfectly clear. 31 pts
Grand total is 220 and it would have been even better if it weren't for those CRAZY steals wow those are some serious deals. The monster high draculaura doesn't count! I still stand by that

i think i got around 250 lol, the in box Cupid threw me off. it is maybe one out of only a couple of Ever After High dolls that I actually would want.

Ive never paid more than 10$ -20 $ for each second hand EAH! then again i dont do lots much. Alistair is more expensive bc he was exclusive to a two pack with Bunny Blanc? Someone correct me if Im wrong ^^;
This was the original Alistair. They also made him in a 2 pack with Bunny where they went on a Carnival Date but it’s not this one. As far as I know, those were the only two Alistairs they made and both are pretty rare. I remember when Alistair first came out I had to get him on Amazon at full retail because he was nowhere to be found in my area. This was the same time where the female dolls who came out in his wave went down in price (Darling, Rosabella, Faybelle, and Bunny). I think the 2 pack was a TRU exclusive so it’s even rarer.
