It's well established, go read about it on Wikipedia - "Welcome to country", it's performed at events, performances etc. Australian indigenous culture dates back at least 50,000 years ago.

@exclick1 depends where you're coming from, I believe Aus has a lot of visa free countries. Could come here for a "working holiday" too, I think there's easy visa pathways if you're a skilled worker or have work planned, maybe look into fruit picking jobs they're always around and pay well just hard work. Either way you'll get here eventually just keep the dream alive.
