@tas9363 Hello !! and yes i did buy a few things in this video from yahoo auctions on buyee, I do think they are similar, the only difference is mecari is a set price and the auctions you gotta fight a bit for and wait a little longer for your item. The way it works is you find an item you want, and press the "place bid" option. From their you will see a spot where you can set the amount you are willing to bid, and you can pick your inspection plan and then place your bid ! Then you will have to wait until the bid is over. The bids last for as long as its set for and you should see that next to "time remaining". Highest bidder by the end of the time remaining wins the item. If someone else outbids you buyee should send you a nonification letting you know so you can bid again. And for most items, Lots of people will save the item and bid before the auction ends so they can try to snach it last second, so if you really want something make sure to check up on it during the last few minutes of the auction being up. I also dont really understand what a sniper bid (the snipe it now button) really does. I tried looking it up and didnt get a clear answer. On some bids their is a "buy now" option that allows you to just buy the item like how you would on mecari instead of bidding and waiting, but not all offer this. @ tysm for ur quick reply!! ive been on the fence for a while abt using the auction bc it was kinda scary haha but ty for ur advice i will definitely try again properly this time !! i enjoyed ur vid all ur items were super cute omg im also a huge sucker for sanrio,, also 1 last thing is there advice on selling things after u decide u dont want them anymore? bc i have a lot of stuff i’ve outgrown/dont want anymore but starting selling is also kinda intimidating 🤣
@tas9363 No problem!! And no the auctions arent scary haha its just the snipe bidding that im still confused on but its not like i have to use it lol. And THANK YOUUU !! im so happy you liked the vid 💗 For selling things I usualy sell my things on depop or Mecari, but depop is the best one for me personally. its very easy to use and you dont even really need a printer! when you sell something you can choose to print the shipping lable or have a QR code for the post office to scan so they can print it for you! i believe mecari offers this as well. Theirs other websites like vinted if you dont like those 2. If you dont want to sell online and deal with shipping you can use your local services like offer up or Facebook marketplace but i believe it can be harder to sell clothes on their depending on what you have. (Also lil hack if you dont wanna drive to a post office, you can google "usps pickup" and you can scedual a free pickup. Basically you scedual a pick up and place your packages outside and whenever the usps person comes to deliver your regular mail, they will take and ship out the packages for you so you dont have to drive to the post office!! I do this all the time and never had issues. Idk how this would work in an appartment tho.)
