I'd get the truffles and maca-rones (maca - roons are the coconut treats) because yum to all of those things! I am all about macarons. It's gotta have the nice feet. Hard to find where I live. I'll be learning to make soon.

We would suggest making a reservation during the week not on busy weekend. Also before 7pm. After 7pm folks are getting out of the parks. We did ours online through their website and we did it about a month in advance. They do walk ups but it’s not a guarantee. (Edit: saw the end with the merch and saw that term so I think I answered my own question lol) Really neat design! And I like that you are doing this even though it's not your favorite food, Paul! Seems like you are enjoying so far...edit: realized second part of restaurant is "savory kitchen". You're covered! I like chocolate, but I am very particular about what type. Sometimes it really does hit the spot. I'll typically go for other things, though, I'm with you...unless it's a brownie, a chocolate chip cookie, the right kind of milk chocolate...like from the UK...yep I'm having chocolate while I watch haha cheers thanks for this Edit: Appreciate the honesty in reviews. We found it at one of the Universal Resorts. Sorry, don’t recall which one of the resorts. But, if you get the chance to stay or visit the resorts they usually have great merch I. Their gift shops. Sometimes not sold at the parks.
I'm with you, Paul, savory trumps sweet. Thanks for your honesty regarding the entrees for Magbis's third birthmonth celebration, it proves that you really mean it when you say other food is very very good. I'm not surprised or appalled that the food was meh, as the prices were reasonable for Universal and the very creative ambiance. This seems like the kind of place to have drinks and dessert after a hot, exhausting day in the park. Glad to see that Magbis ordered a dangerous drink that matched her fall nails.
Beautiful unique restaurant with lots of great food options. We should of went with something else. It was very busy and we are sure it could have been really good. Prices were really decent for a nice restaurant like that. We agree this is a place to relax a few drinks, appetizers and a sweet treat or two. Pretty cool experience.
