Hello jiannis...i have a death guard question for you that i cannot find the answer online : if i have plague chaos lord with tallyman in a plague marine squad...when i roll 1s to hit.. did i re-roll with the chaos lord ability or the hit is 2s cause of tallyman ability so i dont get to re-roll...thanks
Jannis stop passing on wrong information. We had 1 good week, followed by being trash again. GH info is BAD, they include casual games. For best and most recent accurate win rates follow @den_of_fools
savagex466 I just reread the LOV rules and you are right. The LOV does not have to be near the PBCs for them to benefit from his Blight Bombardment special rule. My mistake!
Honest question, do you think "the meta" has spawned a player culture where for instance, Aeldari could come down to 49% win rate and it would be seen as abysmal, while 49% for Admech would be seen as balanced?
Vet interesting point! Yes I think to some extent. As Death Guard fex we have been getting used never to be top dogs, so as a player base we kind have accepted being underdogs . But that is annoying me, why couldn’t we get some OP rules for once and just show up and crush the opposition? :-)
@@generaljannis I agree, it's not unusual to establish a status quo and it wouldn't be surprising if part of the charm a faction can have is either that they are powerful compared to others, or that they are the underdog. which in turn just nurtures that culture I guess :)

@@generaljannis Oh okay. I'm not surprised tbh. I always felt like GW regretted making harlequins, but I love them. I keep trying to play harlequin-like characters in different games 😄
Its not as surprising as you might think...no one runs 100% World Eaters lists, everyone uses 2 or 3 Chaos Knight Wardog Brigands and Daemons alongside their World Eaters for support I’m a World Eaters player and the lists are becoming less about WEs, and more about Chaos Knights + Angron. Most people running competitive lists only use 10 Khorne Berzerkers..
@@Sullzy True, same here. My list has 3 Brigands and only 10 Berzerkers as well, but there's no way we have a 50%+ winrate. Everyone else, like Stat Check, says we're around 39-40%.
I'm not sure where you're pulling your data from, but this is really off from what's actually happening in the meta. Space Marines below Death Guard? Are you kidding me? I'm a good player and I've lost ALL my games against Space Marines by turn 3. Sisters near a 50%? No. This data is very inaccurate. I typically really enjoy your videos, but please do some further research before making something like this.
Just beat Space Marines the other day 53-39. Not a high scoring game, but it's possible with a decent list and a head for how to deploy, counter deploy, use terrain, and prioritize targets. Also... Make your opponent play the game you want, try not to let them dictate the game to you
Thanks!
Where do the stats come from just curious so I can keep up myself
I’m really surprised dg went so high
There's like 1 viable list that actually does some stuff. Most of the army is bad, and worst of all, super duper boring.
Could you do a statistics video of the real heavy guns available for death guard ?

You reroll first, before applying the modifiers
@@generaljannis ty very much
No worries, DG dropped %-wise again since the posting of this video!

I'm worried they will nerf my chaos again due to imperial knights still winning
Are you sure about Aiden's DG list? I was trying to add it up in the 40K app, and I'm getting 2075 instead of 2000 pts. Maybe I got something wrong? 🤔
Were would you have the LoV in this list ? Who should he fight with ?
@@savagex466-qt1io As I read the list, Morty and LOV (attached to 3xDST) were hanging back to buff the PBCs.
@@michaeljdauben Ok I thought the LOV would have to be in the front to spot enemies. Il have to re read it because Im confused. Thanks though bud.

Go Death Guard ! I side with the Papa no matter what !
This can’t be real. LOV that high???
No harlequins?
They are within Aeldari :-)
@@generaljannis That's like saying genestealers cults are within tyranids. They're the same race but with very different fighting styles.
@@Wolfways yes but the Harlequins dont have their own Index

It’s from 40K stats Goonhammer. With a lot of games data set
Perhaps provide your evidence and research to show this isn't accurate instead of anecdotes based on your performance

As I understand it goonhammer data includes casual play so its baseline position needs to be considered with care.
