I love how you describe that: 'yoke wrestling' 😁. Sara wrestled the pesky yoke - and won ! 😀. I'm always somewhat surprised at the degree of action required with the yoke, when landing - only the pilots know the reason why.

The technical quality wasn't up to the usual standards this time. Everything outside the aircraft is overexposed. I understand the lightning conditions weren't optimal, but why publish something inferior? Unless if you have another version, with additional cameras exposing for the environment.
Sand is extremely reflective
The video quality was good, and up to current JP video standards. The vid quality of their stuff from several years ago isn't quite so good, due to the lesser technical standards of the time. You must remember, they've been around since the days of the clockwork cameras. 😁

This is our 30th year of filming cockpits and the stuff from 30 years ago, which was ok back then, looks bad today... and no doubt the stuff we film today will look bad in 30 years.... but one thing we do is we continuously try to improve, we buy new equipment all the time to bring you better quality... but also important to know is we are very restricted as far as what we can bring on board... most of these cockpits are tiny and most airlines also limit us so you can't really compare cockpit filming to regular filming, its not.

when its turbulent and little bit windy it might be needed. Be aware the slower you fly the larger the control inputs

I'm curious, do airlines in predominantly Islamic countries usually pair females pilots?
Not just Islamic countries; it's something you'll see more of in the future, worldwide, as more female pilots come on-stream. We see male pilots regularly paired - so why not females. This particular flight had an all-female flight crew (Flightdeck and cabin). It's very heartening to see, and it's 'one in the eye' for those who think women can't, or shouldn't, fly planes.
Islam is not prohibiting females from working, Egypt is an islamic country yes but that has nothing to do with work this is not new , dont attach this to what is happening in saudia because its a long and a different story

Ah Cairo airport, a little slice of hell on this earth. Landed there a few times ... had to bribe somebody to get my luggage, had to bribe somebody to get through customs and then got ripped off by the cab driver. If fact, Egypt= the land of scams and bribes.
