What a fun Christmas experience! Pura Vida is such a great experience and way of life. Cool Share with the gifts. Cool Treck man! Definitely on the list!
You had me at volcano!! Costa Rice is one of those countries that have always fascinated me, it seems so mysterious in more ways than one. Its culture, its landscapes, its wildlife, all seems so unique! And spending Christmas on top of a volcano is certainly unique!
What a wonderful experience to be invited to a traditional Costa Rican Christmas Eve celebration with a local family! Thank you for sharing your amazing Costa Rican Christmas adventure with us!
So festive and the music is spot on. Tamales are great every time. What a way to celebrate Christmas. The parade was a lot of fun. Thanks for taking us along with great eats and Costa Rican family fun
And here is a country that I absolutely have to visit, I loved the market, the nature, the people and the atmosphere, It's definitly in my bucket list, thanks for the share !
That's so nice that your friends and their family welcomed you in during the holidays! It seems like such a great place to celebrate the Christmas festivities. I really want to try all the food you had in this episode - even the jello and cinnamon ice cream. The market was such a great atmosphere and vibe. The volcano hike was very scenic - great to experience it through your eyes.
I was absolutely blessed when they invited me over. I was not expecting that. Much less all my edible gifts. Oh man the views from a top the volcano I will never forget
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon How much time would you recommend spending in the city to really get a feel for it and explore the main attractions? What area was your accommodation in, and would you recommend the area?
@@TheAverageTourist I would say you need for the entire San Jose area you only a couple of days if you just want to hit the sights. Maybe 3 or 4 if you delve into the San Pedro area and Zapote. I was staying in the San Pedro neighborhood. That's near the University. I stayed with my friend so I didn't have to pay for lodging on this trip.
What a great way to spend Christmas! Nice and warm and full of very yummy looking food!! You sure know how to find the best places to eat! Gift shops have to be one of my favorite places to visit when going anywhere. You find some amazing things! Can't wait to see where to travel to next!!
Christmas is always a fun time of the year and its great to spend with your friends. Loved the vlog, looks like a lot of fun and the food looked really yum:)
Omg CR is so fun n vibrant.. We’ve been planning to go there but never end up visiting! For me food is a very important aspect of traveling. I enjoy all the delicacies n treats you eat n share from your travel experiences n this is no different.. Specially it being Christmas time… Your hike to see the ‘inactive’ volcano had some great views too!
Haha, mister Dylan! At least you didn't have to spend Christmas Eve on your own! When I was young we always celebrated Christmas on Christmas eve. The 25th was not that special. Now due to growing family, my mom getting older, we celebrate on Christmas day. 😉 It looks like you really had a great time! 🎄
Awesome presentation of your Costa Rican Christmas experience especially your visit to the country's highest volcano. I remember the markets in the Philippines are like the San Jose market selling similar stuff and vibe. If ever I visit Costa Rica, I will surely try the Gallo Pinto. Pura Vida!
Wow it's an excellent presentation
Thanks
I'm so glad you were with someone for Christmas. Christmas on a volcano huh? Well I guess it didn't erupt since you made it home.
Thanks Mom!
The festivities brought me back.
