A lot of what is happening in the Open Hexagon community is now on our Discord, which you can find at discord.gg/VQ9q4QN. You can report bugs on the build, talk to the community, make suggestions, and even make contributions to the source code if you are looking for something to work on. See you there :) ------ Edit: I'm making an additional comment to address something real quick: **THIS IS NOT A VIRUS!** Since this is an unpopular executable, it triggers false positives in antivirus softwares. I compiled the code myself and ran it, so it should not be malicious in any way. Please allow this program past your antivirus.
No unfortunately not. However, this is revolutionary because we are finally able to compile the source code of Open Hexagon and get the game. This was unachievable for the past 6 years mainly because of how Vee wrote the setup of the compile instructions, being insanely difficult to follow that nobody has been able to compile it. I managed to get into contact with Vee and he rewrote the compiling instructions, that were much easier to follow and easier to perform than before. This is a first for Open Hexagon, because now people know how to compile the source code for the game, we can actually start developing on the game engine itself and actually progress Open Hexagon to getting an actual 2.0 release. It is called a RELEASE build because RELEASE builds have additional optimizations added to the library that make the game run a lot faster. Ordinary builds don't have these optimizations and therefore can result in a laggier game. If Open Hexagon 2 were to actually have released, I'd put way more effort into this video than what I did.
@@ihavebadpc2333 Added a disclaimer regarding the virus thing. Because this is an unknown executable that has just been made, antivirus programs will instantly say that it is a virus. These are false positives and I guarantee you the program is safe. Just be sure to make an exception for it.
Fucking amazing
