I did a 180 degree turn from having my back towards God to turning to Allah SWT. This has changed my entire being, by removing the veil I had between myself and Allah SWT. The story of the Prophet Yacub helped me so much raising 4 boys post 9/11. It reminded me to stop crying so I don't go blind and put my faith in Allah because everything is part of Allah's plan and patience is necessary to wait and see how the story ends. Life is a test and heaven isn't free. Alhamdullilah.

SubhanAllah…before I watched this podcast I loved how Akhi Ayman could relate to the youth, his message was powerful and by the permission of Allah would help transform many of the youth but I NEVER realised how I could benefit from him as a mother. I pray my children love me the way he loved his mother, I pray I can be a great role model for them in helping them love Allah and his beautiful deen. I did 7 years in federal prison and listening to brother Ayman really brought back a lot of bottled up memories/pain/feelings. Alhamdulillah if it wasn’t for Islam, I’d have never made it. Allah as my witness.
What akhi ayman said about regret hit me straight in my heart, its so true that it is what dimishes our ego and allows us to be connected to allah swt. This is why we say allah swt gives the most harsh tests to the ones he loves the most as it is a way to help guide us.
The Messenger of Allah SAW said: "The most fortunate person who will have my intercession on the Day of Judgement will be the one who said la illaha illallah sincerely from his heart." (Bukhäri)
I actually found out who Akhi Ayman was through a lecture on YT, he was talking about his life in the streets to the Deen, I genuinely related a lot even tho I’ve been in a gang before, Akhi just has that type of energy about him. May Allah reward you both for this excellent conversation.

I am an imam for the last 2 decades but I am learning from Akhi Ayman a lot wallah.
Today I was listening to him and I cried and cried and cried.
Why do you need to mention your imamship for 2decades brother?that’s between you and Allah.I am not judging you but just want to note that is good to hide your good deeds.

Allahumma Barik, Akhi Ayman is a lion of Allah, him and his family fought their entire lives simply for being Muslim, Allah Subhanallah wa Talla provides the hardest battles to his toughest soilders and Alhamdullilah preserved Ayman's life so that he may guide the ummah and the youth especially, closer to our Lord. May Allah strengthen our Iman and protect us all.

When i was in my dark times, shaykh billal's lectures helped me so much, and this talk is no different, through the pain and struggles we stay strong, it was good to see akhi Ayman open up and let us in, may allah grant him peace and strength to keep going.

This was such a powerful talk.
The patience and understanding from sheikh was impeccable, the way they corrected akhi was perfect. They spoke to him with so much respect.
Akhi on the other hand made me cry and pray that I receive this type of love from my children when they’re older one day. He is what the youth need no doubt. I hope he carries on with strength and guidance from Allah.

What akhi ayman said about regret hit me straight in my heart, its so true that it is what dimishes our ego and allows us to be connected to allah swt. This is why we say allah swt gives the most harsh tests to the ones he loves the most as it is a way to help guide us.
