  • I could've sworn I'd posted this... but I guess I didn't.
Our local hobby shop moved and reopened, and seeing as I'd never seen or heard of this company, I was curious. They were quite inexpensive considering what's included, but I tend to steer clear of 1/72 figures as they tend to be super rubbery and softly detailed.
These aren't bad! Details are pretty clear and the plastic is relatively stiff. There's a fair variety of poses in each box as well, with some specific sculpts for the leaders. I'm not a huge fan of the spears, but this is true of most figures of this size.
I can't seem to find a website for the company either.
Perhaps some of you out there have a bit more details on where these come from?

Could be a nice cheap way to get a second army in Hail Caesar. Currently working on a Victrix gallic army but its pricey.

There are some metal replacement spears available, but it is rarely worth the effort to replace them.

I cut my teeth on 15mm D&D battle systems so 72nd scale was just a bit smaller if I remember right.

Schöne Figuren. Einige sind auch bei Revell.
Mit heißem Wasser kann man die Arme noch in andere Position bringen!

I mean they could possibly used for halfling raiders, ah yes saxon halflings. Or even surprisingly militarized redcaps.

There is a great website that has been around for a while that does reviews of every 1/72 plastic kit. Plenty of pictures.

I really do like the price, size, and sculpts of the 1/72 minis, but I already have so much in 15mm that I really shouldn't spread myself thin over two different scales.

I love plastic soldier review- that was the first place I went upon discovering them!

Those mold lines are pretty rough.

Aren't they always at this scale though?
I had some Caesar figures that were so bad you couldn't tell what they were supposed to be- they were in an Aztecs box, but they looked more like shape shifting doppelgangers.
I kinda regret tossing those guys now- I should have painted them up as some sort of ancient vampire monster thing instead...

@@ObscuritiesinMiniature Oh man, your camera is so good that I didn't even realize how small they were. I also must be incapable of reading numbers because its clearly marked in the title, lol. I guess that says a lot about the models then, since the details are about as nice as 28mm models!
