I’ve also been liking Dior Face and Body foundation with the Elevated Glow underneath great for humid weather!

Sam I hope you see this! I have been following this foundation technique almost to the letter. I am 58 and don't look like you but this makes so much sense rather than seeking that "perfect" foundation formula. You are so far beyond 99 percent of the beauty TH-camrs. I don't use Instagram, but I have been following you on TH-cam since you gave birth to your first one, can't remember how many years ago was that. I'm a red lip person too, I absolutely loved your tips. Love you lots, good to see another video!
I feel like a psychic sometimes. I was looking for you just a few weeks ago and now you are back! I would love a "best dry skin foundations" comparison video like old times - a mixture of drugstore and high-end. I need a new foundation and there's just so many options, it's overwhelming deciding what to try out.
I will never get tired of watching you do makeup 💄 your lips look amazing 🤩 loved this video and can’t wait for your next one as always 👏🏻 would love to see you use a complete cheaper look too for people that struggle but still want to look amazing xx
So nice to see you back. It's really refreshing to watch a makeup artist use thin layers sparingly and properly. I believe your make up looks far more sophisticated than the typical channels at the moment in which young influencers slap tonnes and tonnes of products all over their faces and have the audacity to pretend that it looks good.
I was really sad to see you leave TH-cam as I watched you here for ages. I much prefer the long-format of YT so have never been on Instagram. So it's great to see you back! And I always love seeing people not doing the hard sell (even though I appreciate people have to make a living) and showing skill instead- I for one can never learn enough, particularly as my face seems to have changed significantly over the last few years 😂
Nailed it with the mascara bit. I totally agree, it’s nice to just do a tint. Also I love your small brushes, idk why they make them soo big sometimes. Faces aren’t that big. I have been loving your videos, they help me since I have green eyes n brown hair so your aesthetic works for me. You’re pleasant to watch n so practical. You’re funny too n low key. Thank you!!
So happy to hear a makeup artist's opinion on lashes; your mascara looks divine. So sick of 'influencers' who have no idea what they are doing, apply clumpy, gloppy mascaa. It looks absolutely dreadful. And they think we want to look like them? You are a very good teacher.
Your one of the first makeup artists that I watched and sooo miss your channel. Could sit and watch you apply make up all day 😍 you actually are an artist . Xx
Dear Sam, your videos are very helpful and valuable for me as a mom with advanced skin. I've been more put off than inspired by the intense, product-packed, epic full face make-up videos of other TH-camrs, who are much younger than me and have other skin issues than in my age. With your minimalist approach you have encouraged me to try out one or two products for myself and together with the tips and insights you give along the way, they really make a big difference on my skin. Your video showing different red lipsticks is absolutely amazing. Then I got the Pat McGrath lipstick you’re also using here and I really get compliments every time! ❤ Maybe you can also make a video about your favorite nude shades? Love your expertise!
I adore that you didn’t use a lot of contour or cheek products. I think I have been “influenced” to have to use a lot of sculpting products but I think after watching this I want to strip back. Great to see you in videos again :)
Love an in depth skin video, and I’m all about a glowy base too. I’ve been loving using Chanel water fresh tint which is such a beautiful product on its own, but with a little bit of Armani luminous silk foundation where needed, honestly it’s the most perfect base, doubt I’ll change it any time soon. My favourite red lipstick at the moment is Lisa Eldridge’s velvet rain, think you’d love it if you don’t have it, it’s a very unique wearable red, kind of muted slightly russety red xx
Love to see u back doing 💄 makeup, always looked forward to watching u on TH-cam years ago and more recently Instagram and tbh thought u had stopped so was pleased to see u back ❤
You are my favorite, I'm so glad you're back! This look is great. I would love to see a video of 5 different quick makeup looks that are appropriate for the office. I always end up wearing the same look to work because I am out of ideas.
I'm happy to see you're back. I learned how to use makeup through your videos for in my youth and you've really inspired the passion for professional makeup I now have. so thank you and can't wait to learn some more ☺
I love that you’re back! As amazing as ever. I was super sad when your 5 techniques everyone should know(?) video disappeared, but am so happy to be able to watch your artistry again!
it is such a delight that you are back on youtube! I always loved your style of make-up that undone-element is extremly relevant to me. I am 45 (upcoming birthday in August!) as well and I can relate to the multiple thin layers you show in this video. the video I loved most was "five styles of make-up you have to master" or something a long those lines. So cool, heipful and absolutely refreshing.
I have recently loved using ultraviolette lean screen SPF (mattifying and slightly tinted) and then mixing Vieve skin dew with concealer to use as a base. Skin dew seems to provide a bit of stick and nothing really budges! I have shiny skin so would have never thought to try skin dew but saw it on Jamie's channel and it works really well!
SHE'S BACK!!! 🙌🏾I've been rekindling my love of makeup in a post lockdown, neo-pandemic world and reconnecting with past favs has been such a blast. Always loved your style and in true form a lovely video! As far as tips go I actually prefer to use a full coverage foundation and just sheer it out with moisturizer so I can customize my coverage according to my liking that day. Then the foundation can also double as a sort of 'concealer' in the context of the rest of the base. I find that I end up piling on the sheerer foundations and run through them so quickly. I also love love love to set the highlighted parts with a mixture of Hourglass Ambient Lighting Finishing powder and RCMA no-color powder for a sophisticated glow that sets everything. Looking forward to more videos!
This has inspired me to go more dewy, less matte with my foundation. Please at some point can you do a Brody Dalle inspired makeup video again! Yours was the best, often recreations tend to be too heavy. Thanks!
Hello. So glad to see you back. I tend to watch Lisa Eldridge (or Storror) videos before sleep or when I can’t sleep (as is the case now) and YT knows me so well you were right there. Anyway, whatever you dish out I’ll watch. Your skin is phenomenal so any tips in that arena is appreciated. I’m 51, love makeup but it’s a bit trickier now dealing with face drop. Cheers.
Sam, you are like a bloody fine wine woman!!! I’ve been a follower, whatever platform you’ve been on, since the start of pixiwoo channel. I’m now 52 (today now that I see the time 😂) and can proudly say I’ve learned most of my make up skills from you, so thank you. My current base combo is nars tinted moisturiser with CT Hollywood flawless filter mixed in. Beautiful light, skin like base. Love to see you back on you tube. Xx
I don't mind seeing you use a ton of expensive products. I'm not going to recreate step by step because I don't have your beautiful skin. Sometimes one or two products will stand out as suitable for me and I'll get those. It's just good to see your approach and techniques. Thanks Sam!
Really lovely..I love her simplicity even though she is a pro.. Also I find it nice to see interesting products from different brands, that are affordable, it is not as if she is using tom ford, chanel, chantecaille etc .
Delighted to have you back here! Would you think about doing an updated vid of some of your older looks, for those of us who watched first time round but whose skin is 10 years and 3 kids older now! Maybe a daytime grunge x
Brilliant! You’re the first person who has mentioned having one eye deeper set than the other. I have this ‘issue’ but being a lot older than you the deeper set eye is also hooded, I use one eye lid tape on that eye which works but honestly you’re the only person I’ve seen who addresses this x
Dear Sam, I have watched you forever ... over a decade ... and your video just popped into my TH-cam feed this morning. It is wonderful to see you. Thank you for this tutorial. I am a pro artist who was put down years ago by a serious injury. You, and a handful of others here, help. I miss dong faces so badly so watching application really helps. I was not aware of the 19/99 lash tint. I just curl my lashes and tint them myself - but this looks lovely. When I applied to others I would comb and comb thru, and/or use individuals. Please keep doing these videos. Today, you have made a kindred Spirit really happy and off to buy what looks like a perfect product. Sending love and hugs your way. Anne
I will never tire of watching you apply makeup and explaining as you go. All of your technique tips and product recommendations are so good. Thank you x

I love that you’re back! As amazing as ever. I was super sad when your 5 techniques everyone should know(?) video disappeared, but am so happy to be able to watch your artistry again!
I would never have thought of a silver liner but this looks so pretty, brightening, yet understated❤❤
Such a hot look!!!! I really want to try your foundation technique. It’s super sophisticated and modern. Thank you for sharing.xx❤xx
Brilliant that I can find you on TH-cam 🎉
You've got the best tips ever and you make it look so effortless. 👌
STUNNING! You’ve always reminded me of a blue eyed Rachel Weisz! Gorgeous as ever, would die for more content from you and your sis ❤❤❤
Dreams really do come true! So glad to see you making videos like this. What an amazing throw back x
it is such a delight that you are back on youtube!
I'm so glad!
This was awesome. (You're helping me fall in love with makeup again.)
Thanks!
Who's caring about what products your using, your just so beautiful and have an amazing face for make up. Or no make up!!!❤😊
Cheers.
I can‘t believe you‘re back! 😊 Yay!!
Great to see you back!!!! You look GORGEOUS ❤❤❤
Yes, funny isn’t it. I wonder if people just don’t notice it until they get older.
Anne
