@@smileandsaycheese44 You obviously didn’t get the whole point of that sentence. It’s irony and sarcasm. Seeing that most MUA and makeup gurus use so much lighting and filters so you can’t really see the actual skin and texture which is a bit problematic when you’re doing makeup and teaching makeup. I was the last generation of MUA who was taught and did “old school” makeup back in 2012, before Kin Kardashian changed makeup forever in 2013.

Def props for not using filters but lets not pretend this is what most people's skin looks like! Her skin is literally more flawless than the vast majority of the population.
The reason I always enjoyed watching you and Nic for so many years is that you never went for the gimmicky, silly trends, and you never seemed like you were putting on a show for us. It was like a friend talking you through their makeup and life in general. I used to put on your videos while I did my own makeup so it was like we were doing it together. And after all these years a lot of the products you used are still staples in my everyday makeup (I will never stop buying Hush cream color base from MAC, or extended play mascara). Thanks for another lovely video.

In my late fifty’s I have developed an interest in make up.. I enjoy your videos and find them inspirational and informative. I have deep set hooded eyes blue/green with gold flecks, so todays make up really resonates and I will try to emulate……. Has been very inspirational, especially as I nibble my nails and cuticles too.

Would love to see you recreate your pixiwoo videos, where you explained basic makeup looks that every girl should know, you know like 5 looks in one video sort of thing, blushy / sculpted looks and more. Your videos used to be my go to when I was very new to makeup and didn’t know what I was doing. Even though I don’t have access to most of the brands that you use it never bothered me because I followed you for the techniques and the way you did your makeup.
That video get’s requested more than any other.

I love navy pencil and brown shadow! I could wear this look that you've shown here daily. I'm also heartbroken for the Marc jacobs highliner pencils. I don't know why they were discontinued except for they melted really easily. Thank you for your lively tutorial!

I’d really like to see a video about changing or adjusting your lip shape more in depth. I have a scar from childhood, so my lips are uneven and it’s something that has always stopped me from wearing anything but glosses.

I’m going to have to try that foundation again. I can’t find a good color match in Westman Atelier but maybe the yellow mixed with a green color corrector would make it better. I recreated the eye look and think it’s pretty great. Thanks for another fabulous tutorial.
