- First try with video AI on a classic Thanksgiving video. Not perfect. Need to search for a better source.. it’s funny how signs lose words and faces look like masks. Ok First of all This is the source.. • WKRP Turkey Drop A 360p video and fuzzy at that. So this did an ok job.. Still looking for a better version of that episode.

When Les reads the banner, I lost it. Even at 7, I knew that was funny.
Yes How everyone in the studio are reacting is awesome. The show was a classic.
The absolute funniest episode. This TH-cam channel butchered it!! The scene description of the chain of events by Les Nesman that proceeded placed an extraordinary emphasis upon the events and hilariously summarized the entire episode.
@@jamesr.3460 how did I butcher it. There are no sources of this online that are in good or fair quality. All I did was take what was available to me and run it through at the time current software to upscale it. And this is what it gave me. The source was something like 240 pixels wide( if it means that much to you I can go and try to find it again) so the quality was super terrible in the first place. If I had this on a dvd I would have never needed to use such a source. But seeing what it did to my favorite episode of W KRP, made me both laugh and cringe so I had to post. If you have a better source let me know and I’ll try again. But this stays as an example of garbage in (the video quality of a true masterpiece ) garbage out.
What's with the weird eyes? Is it to avoid detection of the video scene or something?
More rock and less Nesmond!
Had to see what Video AI did of this.. Some is good most is Weird some is bad (especially anything with words)
SMD, it's a HORRORSHOW!!!!!
I know its an example of seeing how far this technology at the time of the post was.. Ill do it again next year for Turkey Day to see if its better with the exact same video :)

The AI upscaling looks weird. Bailey looks like a zombie. The "Happy Thanksgiving" sign in the store window is garbled.

You ruined the faces.
This is the software and it's mainly due to the lack of resolution. If I had a Decent 720p it might not make them so PLASTIC. I think it's funny how the mic blends in to the face and even pulls color off when it comes away from his face. AI fail heheh. But some of it is Good but the words are all gone. Thanks for the reply.. Just testing software for fun.
@@SuperMouseDV I just double the resolution and and a 1 pixel soft blur and call it a day.
Happy Thanksgiving :) This was just for fun and Video AI by Topaz did not like the source material.. I think its funny (forget her name) Looks like she is wearing Sunglasses most of the time. @@donmyers945

Honestly if you seen the Original it was a 360p source brought up to 1080.. too much to even try Here was the source th-cam.com/video/BGFtV6-ALoQ/w-d-xo.html So you can see where it started. Funny thing is, wild turkeys do fly for short low altitude distances. Domestic turkeys are too heavy.
