Have had this car for almost 6 months, biggest frustration is the small 13 gallon tank... With sport+ manual mode almost everyday I get 15-16 mpg at best with a range of less than 200 miles lol
Have not had any MAJOR problems with my 22. 35k miles. Small issue with the turning indicator that was likely due to me putting my masks there but was fixed under warranty. @@PeterSothern
Just got one--traded a kona N for it--22 GLA with this package.Im at 20 mpg in urban driving--little stop and go but shorter mileage.Put it in comfort mode and simply wait for the car in front to go a bit--dct's like to be driven brisk. In comfort mode this can stomp most that pull up next to you and its midrange--top end is on par with NA v8 cars.I luv mine and I have YT videos on previous cars I have raced and plan on taking this to public drag or the silver state classic.New Type R--acura tlx-type S--stingers--G70s--Golf R--chargers--mustang 5.0 are all over 50k now--bought this for way less used and it will stomp the cars I just mentioned.
I was looking to get into a 2023 Golf R, saw MSRP at 43-45k thought sweet thats doable, after dealer markup the Golf R was going for 60K, I ended up going with a 2021 MB GLA 45 AMG with 7k miles for 45k...much nicer interior even if you can tune a Golf R to be what this MB is, 60k for a golf R is not worth it at all
I did exactly the same thing. Sold 2016 Golf R to Carvana and bought a CPO 2022 GLA45 with 18k miles for same money as new Golf R. GLA45 is only 6 inches longer than Golf but in a different league with performance and amenities.
I just got one after trading a kona n on a 22 GLA 45 amg--this thing hits way harder then any 4 cyl I have had.Its cold rt now and this is probably pushing 400 hp and MB is known to deflate their HP for insurance reasons.I am at 21 mpg and hit a 60 according to the computer at 4.1 in comfort mode.I also powerbraked it instead os the sport plus mode so I am pretty sure it weill get under 4 sec
Its cute how you think a v6 is a true amg motor. I like the gla 45 though since 2016 but option prices are out of hand, I have a newish mini Cooper S still.
@@SmokinBuddha nice! I was about to order one, but my dealer had one that was about 90 percent what I wanted. I didn’t want the magno grey paint, and I wanted vented seats. So really just one option away, so I took it. I actually was hoping the GLB45 was put, I really dig that body style, I just don’t want the cheaper 35 engine. Love my GLA though, almost past the break in period now.
Special thanks to our Patrons for their support of the channel! Would you take a GLA45 or save half the money and get a Focus RS?
I love mine and I rarely see it on the road.
it's kinda special being the only one on the road im sure

That’s a frustrating bit
You had any problems?
@@PeterSothern I have a MY21… Only problem is the transmission, sometimes it would downshift two gears even though I only pressed it once

But does it have the carbon rear wing?

It’s plastic outside to keep paint from scraping from road debris.
Adult toys lol 😏
hot hatch.. with $$ bragging rights.. rights?

No way this 4cylinder is 80k you guys are joking with us or lying
Definitely not 80k, it’s like 67k fully loaded
@@Stat1c_M A loaded 2023 GLA 45 cost $76,290 before taxes.
@@SmokinBuddha I can concur, my 23 GLA45 was 73,xxx, and it didn’t have a few things.
@@mikehawk120 - I'm waiting for my GLA 45 AMG from Germany. My rep asked me if I rather have the 2024 model? I said YES!!
