I think it would be cool to have Kendrix who was returned to life at the end of Lost Galaxy, discover how the Quasar Sabers were forged and powered. We have seen through the Lightspeed/ Lost Galaxy team up and Legendary Battle that both Kendrix and Karone can use the Pink Saber. This leads Kendrix to studying her saber and discovering how the sword was forged and Powered. So she Forges a new Quasar Saber and enables the necessary connections to empower it like the others. But she cannot wield it as she is the rightful Pink Ranger. Karone returns to Kendrix full rights to the pink saber. Then is a fight the Galaxy Ranger need help and Karone finds the Saber Kendrix made. She takes up the Saber and feels the energy of the grid flow through her. She hears the words in her mind: “Galaxy Defender, Go Galactic” She pulls the Saber Across her body saying “Galaxy Defender, Go Galatic “ While Turning the Saber and thrusting it over her head. Then where Karone once stood, Now Stands The Purple Ranger partner of the Phoenix Galactabeast. She is clad in Purple with Silver shield vest(similar to the White Ranger). At this she moves to help the team. As she enters the battle, Mike sees her as he watched Leo Standing alone in defense of his planet and his team until Karone’s arrival the others have been taken down. Mike, thinks that’s my brother, Stubborn as hell and refusing to quit. Suddenly the Morpher he thought gone forever, reappears on his wrists. He unites the ends and says “ For all that is right, I defended the light, MAGNA DEFENDER! He and the Purple Ranger join the fight turning the battle giving the others the chance regroup, Morph and finish the fight.
I thought Karone would become the purple In Space ranger because of the color she was wearing after she became good. It would have been cool to get a purple ranger with In Space or Lost Galaxy but I think everything worked out for the best.
A PRIS season 2 would have been cool. Maybe we'll see something done in the Boom! Comics. I haven't been keeping up in that series, so IDK if that wouldn't be possible... or whatever

Something like that could have worked. If I remember correctly, the original script had Maya and Cassie rescuing the pink quasar saber. Meanwhile, Karone could find her staff, probably purified by the Z-Wave.

I knew Cassie was supposed to originally take on the role of the second pink galaxy ranger, but I didn’t know that corona was going to be the purple ranger. The only hint of that that I got was the Power Rangers lost galaxy fanart.
We have had a fair number of "sort of" purple rangers before. It really seems that thematically the color is generally associated with darkness or evil. Even the actual purple rangers were mostly reformed bad guys who were still edgy or anti-heroes. And it is kind of nice that it has a stronger identity than most of the colors do. Other than red being leader and pink being a particularly femine girl with yellow generally being a more sporty, athletic girl, its hard to say there is any of the other colors tend to represent anything. I suppose the couple Orange Rangers were all kind of comedic characters. But with blue, black, green and white-- hard to say that there is any solid thematic through-line.

This was an interesting tidbit for my tokusatsu gateway series. Has there ever been a bronze ranger in SS or PR? If not then I think the colour would work better on an armoured extra hero like Magna Defender than a traditional bodysuit. Either commanding his own multi component Megazord or becoming part of the combined form himself, wearing a cape and/or cowl and utilising a polearm weapon.
StarNinger/Ninja Steel Gold would’ve been perfect as a Bronze Ranger considering his Zord’s Bronze/Brown. Also works with the whole Cowboy motif he has.

i would say they could have had a arc that when the power rangers saved the 3 galactabeasts who were being controlled, those beasts could have bestowed the 6th saber they had to karone making her the purple galactic ranger, if the story went as it was supposed to
During the original run for MMPR there was a local kids channel that had a after school lineup of shows called Happy the Hobo. He had a live audience of children and sketches that they would enjoy (a sister show aired in the morning before school and would tell kids what their school lunch menu was for the day) but I'm getting too far off subject. Anyways... Happy the Hobo joked he was the Purple Ranger with a duck zord. Kids would submit their fan art of him as the purple duck ranger too lol
I'm pretty certain the reason we never actually got a purple ranger out of Karone was because power rangers in space had a shoestring budget due to turbo's ratings almost killing the series.
Is this a fact tho? Bc the actors from in space had said that the megaship set was all connected and pretty impressive (all the halls/corridors and stuff)

If you watch the series history of power rangers by linkara he talks about it, but it's also fairly obvious when you look at the fact that every other season of power rangers before power rangers in space ends on a cliffhanger, but power rangers in space is obviously supposed to be an actual ending. It's why they wrote power rangers in space that way, turbo flopped so they thought they were only going to get one more season. From the rangerwiki: " A great deal of the budget would be spent creating cheap green screen space footage for the Zords traveling in space as well as shooting new fight scenes with the Space Rangers which were tinted a different color for broadcast so as to create the appearance of the battles taking place on alien worlds." They literally could not afford to have whole new ranger footage created with an entirely new power ranger. It was partially because of turbo's poor ratings and then getting less funding for this particular season, but also because they thought it was going to be a space theme series and it wound up being a video game theme series so they had to create a whole bunch of the space stuff on the stateside.
They probably wanted to keep following the Sentai Gingaman footage, it was easier back then. There was no purple Mechas in that Sentai, and the core members still had the GingaPink, they couldn't ignore those footages so there wasn't nothing much else left to create an american Ranger version. That worked with Titanium because he was a Sixth so they don't need to modify someone from a core team of a Sentai footage, and in this case LinerBoy kinda worked as a Sixth Ranger's Zord, the Max Solarzord.

Plus had Kerone been a Purple Lost Galaxy ranger. Then she would've needed her own Zord. She might have ended up with Stratoforce Megazord or Zenith Carrierzord. Even Silver Titanus, though the colors would've clashed.
Lost Galaxy production coulda taken the arc of Karone being the pink Ranger and slowly turning pink into purple cuz something in her core was still kinda corrupted by Dark Spectre's energy or there was still some evil inside of her, but hidden really deep into her and that kinda affected the Lost Galaxy powers. In PR Dino (Super)Charge, the Plesiozord crash-lands on Earth, and the Holder of the Purple Energem eventually passes it over to the Human Support Member of the Rangers. Her Name? *Kendall Morgan!* What's so strange about what appears to be an intentional Familial Link of Kendall to the former Pink Lost Galaxy Ranger, with a Zord coming from Space (quite likely from another _Galaxy..._ ) that just happens to be the Color of the unused Ranger in Lost Galaxy... ...is that it was all *an Enormous Coincedence!* In interviews with the Writers of Dino (Super)Charge, when asked about the possible link between the Ms Morgan in Dino Charge to the original Pink Lost Galaxy Ranger were visibly surprised: They were completely unaware of an existing character with the Surname, and were shocked that they had _accidentally_ designed the Perfect recipient for the Purple Space Dinozord!

Interesting. Also, I think I'd either be blue or green. Blue tend to be the smarter, more analytical ranger of the team. While I'm not the smartest, I tend to hang back and observe. Then act. Green's tend to be the wildcard, the rogue of the team. I think of myself like Mike in Samurai. He was kinda all oved the place, but was always around to help. I think I'd be one of those two.
I remember as a kid thinking about what other color I could be and I gravitated to orange and purple. The zords weren't very good though. For whatever reason I thought and octopus and a manta ray would be good zords.

Another candidate for the second loss galaxy pink Ranger was that actor from that episode where the Director thought that Kendricks looked just like her. There would’ve been some confusion with the other four Rangers, but it probably would’ve lasted for about two or so episodes.
An Explanation of the Purple Ranger could be that Karone's Body had some Residual Energy of the Pink Galaxy Sword and she would obtain/have a New Sword that would use that Residual Energy as a Catalyst for a New Transformation Ps: For the origins of that Sword they could simply make it an Artifact of an New Planet that has the Ability to bring out and amplify the InnerPower of whoever wields it and Karone's InnePower would be the Residual Power Grid/Power Ranger's Transformation/Energy They could even say that the Zord would be the Guardian of the Planet and it would turn into a Zord because of the connection it would have with the Sword
Dude, the death of Zordon turned most of the bad guys up to that point into good guys. The Machine King & Queen disappeared, as did all of the henchmen from each army, but Rita Repulsa turned into a human version of herself & Lord Zed turned into...a prissy white British guy wearing the trope-y sweater over the shoulders with the sleeves tied around the front. The two of them then proceeded to dance on the surface of what seems to be a deserted planet, surrounded by the corpses of their henchmen. And with no apparent way of getting OFF the planet they were stuck on, mind you. A plot point that was never actually resolved, as far as I'm aware. So, it's not like that purple chick was the only one to turn good.
Karone becoming the first female sixth Ranger definitely would've been awesome to see.. Lost Galaxy Purple Ranger 💜 and Also her Quasar Saber along with a Galactic beast Bat is perfect right there.. if I was a Power Ranger I'd be WildForce Gorilla Ranger which is Green..

And that brings up another point: Why WERE all the 6th rangers guys? Outside of Ninjor, who you don't know the identity of, & that one police robot - who still presents as a guy. What, they didn't think a balanced group with just as many girls as guys wouldn't work out for some reason? Did they believe that because women are physically weaker than males having a 3rd might actually hurt their military might against the enemies they were facing? (Which is strange, since after the first Ninja variant we've come to a point where the majority of each episode seems to be about the Megazord of the day fighting, rather than the people themselves, so whether the pilot of that Megazord is a guy or girl is really irrelevant at that point.) It's just really weird, in My opinion.
I think there should be a new team with a new purpose you know where things ended up the purple quays are safer would be born of all five quasar savers they will pull their energy together and a new one will be forged and then you find out that's how power works it sits long enough another sword will be born indicating it's better not to use it

There was part of ZyuOh The World's suit (it was divided into 3) and Ryusoul Brown (while brown is in his name his color balances on that line)

A very strange thing occurred involving a Purple Ranger more recently...
In PR Dino (Super)Charge, the Plesiozord crash-lands on Earth, and the Holder of the Purple Energem eventually passes it over to the Human Support Member of the Rangers. Her Name? *Kendall Morgan!*
What's so strange about what appears to be an intentional Familial Link of Kendall to the former Pink Lost Galaxy Ranger, with a Zord coming from Space (quite likely from another _Galaxy..._ ) that just happens to be the Color of the unused Ranger in Lost Galaxy...
...is that it was all *an Enormous Coincedence!*
In interviews with the Writers of Dino (Super)Charge, when asked about the possible link between the Ms Morgan in Dino Charge to the original Pink Lost Galaxy Ranger were visibly surprised: They were completely unaware of an existing character with the Surname, and were shocked that they had _accidentally_ designed the Perfect recipient for the Purple Space Dinozord!

Karone was actually the second choice to be the new Pink Ranger. Originally they wanted Cassie, the Pink Space Ranger, to be the new Lost Galaxy Pink Ranger, but Patricia Ja Lee didn't want to do it because of a pay dispute, and so they went with Melody Perkins (Karone) instead
Can't Blame Patricia from what I've read They wanted to pay her as a guest star while she was a main cast... Power rangers you're printing money from toy sales stop scrimping
Interesting. Also, I think I'd either be blue or green. Blue tend to be the smarter, more analytical ranger of the team. While I'm not the smartest, I tend to hang back and observe. Then act.
Green's tend to be the wildcard, the rogue of the team. I think of myself like Mike in Samurai. He was kinda all oved the place, but was always around to help. I think I'd be one of those two.
I always thought I'd either be green or gold in all honesty, or maybe a black ranger but black and green are normally interchangeable
I remember as a kid thinking about what other color I could be and I gravitated to orange and purple. The zords weren't very good though. For whatever reason I thought and octopus and a manta ray would be good zords.

I agreed that she was supposed to be the purple ranger but Saban was know cut budget for power ranger so they would need to put alot money and cut corner like you said she should become purple ranger in space and just join the lost galaxy team 6 ranger that would be awesome and, in the story, we see that Karone become part of the team and learn the way of fight and become human and good again plus it would be a way for the Space ranger stay connect with the Lost Galaxy ranger
Didnt Karone take up the mantle as the Pink Lost galaxy Ranger even in the Legendary episode where you see all the old Rangers and she still said "I love being a Power Ranger" before going back into action

It would have been morphinominal to see Karone become the Purple Ranger in In Space, but I still think it was great that they made her a Ranger regardless.
It would've been cool if she was both in Space Purple and lost galaxy pink. Just like how Jason the Red Might Morphin, became the Gold Zeo Ranger.

Another candidate for the second loss galaxy pink Ranger was that actor from that episode where the Director thought that Kendricks looked just like her. There would’ve been some confusion with the other four Rangers, but it probably would’ve lasted for about two or so episodes.

An Explanation of the Purple Ranger could be that
Karone's Body had some Residual Energy of the Pink Galaxy Sword and she would obtain/have a New Sword that would use that Residual Energy as a Catalyst for a New Transformation
Ps: For the origins of that Sword they could simply make it an Artifact of an New Planet that has the Ability to bring out and amplify the InnerPower of whoever wields it
and Karone's InnePower would be the Residual Power Grid/Power Ranger's Transformation/Energy
They could even say that the Zord would be the Guardian of the Planet and it would turn into a Zord because of the connection it would have with the Sword

Dude, the death of Zordon turned most of the bad guys up to that point into good guys. The Machine King & Queen disappeared, as did all of the henchmen from each army, but Rita Repulsa turned into a human version of herself & Lord Zed turned into...a prissy white British guy wearing the trope-y sweater over the shoulders with the sleeves tied around the front. The two of them then proceeded to dance on the surface of what seems to be a deserted planet, surrounded by the corpses of their henchmen. And with no apparent way of getting OFF the planet they were stuck on, mind you. A plot point that was never actually resolved, as far as I'm aware. So, it's not like that purple chick was the only one to turn good.

Hi, new on your channel. Been a fan of Power Rangers since I was a kid. I have a question though, why is it there is no / less rangers that are colored purple and orange? Thanks in advance.
And that brings up another point: Why WERE all the 6th rangers guys? Outside of Ninjor, who you don't know the identity of, & that one police robot - who still presents as a guy. What, they didn't think a balanced group with just as many girls as guys wouldn't work out for some reason? Did they believe that because women are physically weaker than males having a 3rd might actually hurt their military might against the enemies they were facing? (Which is strange, since after the first Ninja variant we've come to a point where the majority of each episode seems to be about the Megazord of the day fighting, rather than the people themselves, so whether the pilot of that Megazord is a guy or girl is really irrelevant at that point.) It's just really weird, in My opinion.
I think there should be a new team with a new purpose you know where things ended up the purple quays are safer would be born of all five quasar savers they will pull their energy together and a new one will be forged and then you find out that's how power works it sits long enough another sword will be born indicating it's better not to use it
