The west railway was very important in the 50s and 60s. I used to take the train from Sekondi to Awaso during the long school vacation to be with my late father. Those were good old days.

Ghana was the first country in African to again indenpedent is still behind development
I wonder why a country can be boasting that they are progressive and developed without a rail line and railway stations everywhere which is much affordable, safer, faster, and durable more than any means of transportation. It will boost economy of a nation in transportation industry. Ghanaians waited too long for this project like stagnant Nigerian nation who has no mental capacity to manage themselves and their resources. President Nana Akufo Ado, thank you for this development and we expect more. If you connect railways across all the west Africa states it will attract more tourist to the region and if possible, they can extend it to connect East Africa to make life easy for the citizens and tourist.

Why is there is a project of national interest and President A could not finish the project during his term, and Ghanaians decided to bring in a new government and the new government abounded the project, do Ghanaians have the right to demand from the government of the day to finish the project? If not why?
Because people will give the credit to the NPP government or the Party in power that started the project instead of the Government Of Ghana. The one who completes the job is usually not commended

Pay your fair share of tax to govt for the state of the art railway line to be built from Kumasi to Accra. Why not Kwasi to Cape Coast. Citizens should pay their taxes for infrastructure and social development.
